Alright, I am now an official member of the Transformers Generations Legacy Commander Class Animated Lugnut community. He not only deserves, but also needs a proper commander class figure.
@@nokopanda4642 I think you're thinking of Titan class. Commander class is stuff like Motormaster, Sky Lynx, and Rodimus Prime. Definitely a workable size for Lugnut
@SpartanDara but those figures have a trailer and skylynx turns into a bunch of things, lugnut just being a big figure doesn't work for commander price
A modern lugnut must have detachable forearms for that bomb drop from the plane. Which animated lugs did drop sometimes (how he restored those idk or forgot)
One thing I don't like so much about this guy is the lack of wrist/arm rotation. The rest i can fake my way around, but I want more posability from my Luggy man
Remember getting the original upon release. Aesthetically despite being scaled too short Lugnut was an awesome voyager, with a unique transformation scheme, detailed WW2 Bomber era alt mode, and faithful enough robot mode. yo toyguy i have a transformers animated optimus that I would love to send you for you to take a look at . its the battle damaged optimus prime which is bascially a reworking of the cybertronian form toy
I just got back into watching Animated and just watched the first episode with this guy and damn, do I wish that there was a new toy for him or a reissue of that Reveal the Shield toy because he is waaaaaay too expensive on the aftermarket.
As far as animated characters go, I would like to see a leader class Lugnut and/or Animated Bulkhead. I feel with modern engineering, we could get something spectacular for the both of them at the leader price point
What size class would a legacy Lugnut have to be to ya know fit with the G1ish style? I'd say a leader although a commander class would be sick like something on the lines of Jetfire
Leader class would be perfect for lugnut. About SS86 Dinobot sized would be nice. If he’s jetfire sized then blitzwing would look really tiny next to him which wasn’t the case in animated.
Man i think i owned this when i was like super young, and it got like destroyed, i really want to buy another one of these so i can relive the faint childhood memories

Yes, I hate that it’s all g1, when will we move past that. I thought masterpiece beast wars toys was a good step forward but it’s back to g1 and nobody wants to do animated anymore
i wish he would fight Bulkhead more because Bulkhead could use a sparring partner and Blitzwing puts every Voyager in animated to shame no joke Prime comes up to his shoulder Lugnut comes up to his knee
i got the RTS one when it was on sale at home bargains for dirt cheap back in the day something like £8 (crazy i know), that figure is one of the few transformers i keep out and mess with from time to time, i highly recommend that figure to anyone who likes how the bomber plane looks
Great vid. I couldn’t believe the coincidence of you reviewing this today. I literally got RTS Lugnut yesterday. It finally arrived after 7 months waiting (ground shipping from North America to Australia). It was definitely worth the wait.
The head issue is strange but it is my understanding that his head never turns in the show because it can’t. He has five eyes instead of one. The circles on the side of his head are also eyes and so he doesn’t need to swivel in universe
It’s all good. I try not to assume anything and ask for clarifying information. Thank you. I do think we agree on the idea he would be better with a head swivel. Here’s to hoping we get a leader class figure in 2023. I think I’d be just a hair less excited than I was for TM2 Megatron. I was salivating over Megs myself.
I have animated and RTS Lugnut in my collection RTS is my favourte to look at, the animated verison has been in storage for a few years now, thou with RTS, the only problem would be the cockpit windows on mine, they don't close very well due to the fact they are rubber, so hopefully when we get a updated verison of the character, it doesn't have that problem, in terms of size, I think Leader class min, commander class Max! Lugnut as a character, the fact he pretty much one of Megatron's MOST LOYAL officers and being simple minded, just makes for a amusing character, in a sense, he pretty much like Beast Wars Inferno, to stupid to think for themselves properly and that kind of endeers them to adults and kids alike, thou I think his best moment in animated cartoon is one of the shorts, where he pretty much blows a massive hole in the ground and then Bltizwing says "Now that I look at it, I think the pool will look better, over there!" its the expression upon his face, one of anyonance, he ready to punch that three faced fool!
There's a Lugnut printformer out there that shares a lot of dna with this mold, but they managed to avoid any partsforming with the back of the plane, its kinda just a straight up better version
TFA toys were among the greatest we ever had HOWEVER the biggest problem in Animated was the scale and the need to fill the various size classes, like how Grimlock is slightly shorter than Optimus, while in the show he was so much taller, Blackarachnia is a really tall deluxe or waspinator himself is a deluxe, while in the show he dwarfes both Optimus and Sentinel... personally, I just keep Waspinator with my legend class toys and I feel like this would also solve Lugnut scale problem.
The only thing I desperately wish this figure had was detachable hands so he could drop bombs in vehicle mode, and some way to move the mouth, maybe a button like the Animated leaders or maybe a little lever like Cybertron Optimus. It may just be me, but the way he was animated in the show really makes me wish I could just move that lower jaw up and down
Not for children? Wtf 😒 I'm sure there is a lot of child watching your videos so it's useless to warn about it and your saying this to the biggest majority of people who like toys cause of they're age's that's a bit stupid that's just my opinion
I'm so annoyed that companies aren't making oversized versions of this. That would print money so fast that Blurr couldn't keep up with it.
Speaking of Blurr, I’d like to see someone do a not-Blurr in a cube shaped box, and the box looks like what’s left of him.
@@mechanwhal6590 I'm surprised that hasn't been 3D printed yet.
You can't oversize figures with no access to mold, and TFA molds are from 2007, so probably they are forgotten or even lost

Don’t wanna ruin any hope, but disclaimers don’t work either. You really have to add at least two swears for that MFK garbage to not affect the video.
