Hello, just stumbled on your page today. Love the recomp videos! I just learned that body recomp is a thing. Been working out for years but now ready to take it up another level. Can you do advanced version of this?
I would love if you can do a segment on an advanced program. I've been working out with Splits for months and would like to see what you suggest. Thank you for all your content 🏋♀️!!
Hello neighbor to the North from Seattle! 👋 I love all your videos! They are so helpful, encouraging and informative! I also really appreciate that you make your previous videos for reference available during the current video. I would love a next level video like this please! Thanks again for all the awesome content!
I'm so glad I found you, Michelle! You're very knowledgeable and every one of your videos is chock full of meaningful straight-forward content that makes learning about fitness and nutrition very approachable. The topics are exactly what I want to learn about and after watching I feel motivated and capable because I now know what to do! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such a helpful way! You're amazing!
Thank you so so much for your videos!! I have leave so so much and thanks to you I can see a major difference. Can you please please make a video for a more advanced routine 🙏🏼. Thank you so much
Is the theory of lifting lighter longer really a good way to implement a strength training program if you have degenerative conditions of the spine? I’m finding it hard to get good directions on which way to go. Thanks
A very helpful video and easy to understand. As I am not a gym-type, it would be interesting to know if this workout plan could also be transformed into an at-home workout plan.
Wow! Thank you Michelle ❤ for breaking this all down for us. As a professional you are giving us all such a great gift for free! With any endeavor we must remember “CONSISTENCY BRINGS VICTORY!! We all have the power to overcome the “Boredom Syndrome” and yes it’s a real thing. This was something I had to push through for 6 months. It was hard I am not going to lie but I can honestly say now - I am finally free and no longer struggle with repetition and doing the same healthy thing over and over. My ah-ha moment was when I realized it was because of my daily healthy habits that were keeping me in a place of healthy and strong 💪 On my vision board reads💥Consistency Brings Victory 💥in everything you do.
Hi Michelle, great video but you didn’t mention anything about sets. Is that because we’re to do just one set? Just curious I’m creating a beginner dumbbell program for home based your videos. I have many years of experience weight training but that was a long time ago and before an illness took me for a ride for 16 years now. I’ll be starting over. I have late onset distal muscular dystrophy and vestibular migraine so I’ll need to design this carefully. Dizziness and nausea will definable be an issue but I’m willing deal with it. Can’t stand being this out of shape any longer. Any way thanks so much your doing a wonderful thing with your videos for people like me who can’t afford trainers. SSDI isn’t much and Medicare doesn’t cover it. Keep it up! Oh BTW I hear your in the Seattle Area? I live in Tacoma…Small world
Hey! Glad my videos are helpful! I’m actually in the Vancouver area, but my hubby is from Tacoma 👌🏼👌🏼. I have a whole video talking all about sets and reps - check it out here: th-cam.com/video/Iq36xGqIjhQ/w-d-xo.html
You are so amazing 👏 I'm thankful to have come across your channel. Is there a beginner list of exact names of the exercises. I'm not sure what the names I would start with to create my startup workout. TY
Hi Michelle!! You're amazing! I found your channel a couple a days ago ,been whatching several of your videos since then and i'm already a HUGE fan!! Pearls of wisdom Michelle; thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work! All the best for you and your family!! Teresa from Portugal!
Hi Michelle! I find your videos so informative and so helpful. I know in this video, you mentioned if we wanted to see a more advanced video about a workout plan for those who may be more advanced. I would love to see a video for more advanced people! Thanks.
Yes!!! I came to comment the same thing!! I have watched zillions of videos and read so much but for some reason these are RESONATING with me and it alllll makes sense!
Find you are very knowledgeable and inspiring. I’ve been strength training for some time and have a home gym. I would love a more advanced version of this. I have your app and the 8 week / 4-day split.
Hi Michelle your the best ...I wish I have a trainer like you ..your videos are very informative and your realistic lots of information keep on going and Goodluck to your channel
Yes give me more please and thanks. Is it good to do three days of full body instead? I do jujitsu 4-6 days a week and trying to add weights 3 times a week but when I do spilt days I seem to Not be able to move that part of my body the next day without pain.
Hi Sara! Yes no problem, it's common to be sore in the first week or two of a program, but you shouldn't be getting sore every single time. The programs I designed are in 2 four week phases, meaning you will do the same workouts for 4 weeks and continue to try and progress and get stronger. The workouts are about 35-40mins long but effective in building strength without taking too much time, so you would be able to fit your jujitsu around them. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thank you so much for this video! It’s so helpful. I just turned 57 and have “dabbled” in strength training but would like to take it more seriously. How many pounds of weight do you think I should start with?
Is there a video where all Hinge, squat, overhead press, row/pull, push and carry exercise’s at the gym and at home are suggested or explained? TIA I’ve learned so much so far from these videos. Ive decide to start my own 8 week program today but, I need to choose my 5-6 exercises. I’m going to google in the mean time but, I hope to find a better source soon.
Hi Emily! I’m glad you are finding the videos helpful! I break down the form for all the compound exercises in this video here: th-cam.com/video/qmo-w9XAm24/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps!
Hi! I’m going to take the leap and buy your 3 day split workout program for beginners! I wish I can see how it works before I buy though :( I want to do a full body On Tuesday, upper on Thursday and lower on Friday. Is this plan/app customizable to fit my schedule?
Hi Michelle! I’m about to get the beginner gym strength program. I’m a nurse and I work 3 days a week 12 hour shifts, lots of walking and physical movement during those days. Would you recommend doing the 3 or 4 day strength program? Do you think 4 days would be too much and I would need a day for complete rest/recovery? Right now I do dumbbell workouts at home on my 4 days off a week.
Hey Abbey!! If you think you can commit to the 4 days a week strength training go for it. I also give a bonus full body workout in the 4 day split, in case you have to miss a day on any week, you can do an upper/lower and a full body. Sounds like your job is pretty physical though too - you could also start with the 3 day and then I also have bonus HIIT & core workouts than you could do if you want on the 4th day? We definitely want to make sure your body is getting ample rest between workouts/work.
If i do a 3 day split monday lower body Wednesday upper and friday full body would i just basically do all the excercises i did on monday and Wednesday together on friday? Or pick different exercises for that day
Hey Brooke, if you are just starting out this is totally fine, as you get a bit further into your journey, you might want to switch up the workouts to hit more exercises and challenge yourself (upper/lower/full body etc...) I hope this helps!!
Hey! I'm new to this channel and I have to say it's really informative I have one question tho....my goal is body recomposition however I'm a bit worried about menstrual irregularities....are they gonna happen or just an unnecessary concern? (given that I've once missed mine due to being too thin and anorexic)
Hello! So glad you are finding my channel helpful and informative! As for menstrual irregularities, I feel as long as you are fuelling your body with the right amount of food to support your training goals and fuel your body it shouldn't be a problem. You are correct, often under eating can lead to Amenorrhea - but of course if you are truly concerned always best to talk to your doctor :)
Hi Michelle! I’m about to start a 3 month body recomp program at Planet Fitness. Im trying to download your app, but it’s trying to send the invite to an email that no longer works. How can I get an invite?

Building your own gym plan is expensive?? Expensive in taking the time to sit down and write it out for yourself? Or gym membership is expensive? lol -- In my opinion you can put a cost on your health and longevity, but to each their own.
Hello, you are not able to spot reduce, so there is no specific exercise that will help tone that area. focusing on strength training and decreasing body fat will help - you can check out my body recomposition videos as they might be helpful for you!
