The "Very Best" of Rivington MTB - Part 2 (the B-sides)

- This is the follow up to "the very best of Rivington” guided ride complete with links to Trailforks and Garmin routes in the description below.
You can see the original (part 1) edit here:
• The "VERY BEST" of Riv...
The route starts from Lower house car park, which is a good size but does fill up quick at the weekends.
We did not repeat any descents from the part 1 edit and while this didn't make for a very long ride you can make your own combo loop to add some distance and descending in.
This loop is 17km in length and 631m climbing.
These tracks are on the “cheeky” side and its fair to say they should only really be ridden in dry conditions to prevent further trial erosion.
the 2nd descent - China Gardens - should only really be ridden very early or late win the day or when the weather is bad to prevent running into walkers.
As ever, please be mindful and kind to other moor users.
I would grade most of these tracks as intermediate to advanced for experienced mountain bike riders. I will do a Rivington or beginner riders edit soon.
I hope you enjoy the edit and thanks for watching.
I would greatly appreciate your comments and please like and subscribe as it really does make all the filming and editing worthwhile.

Another really good video from you guys. So helpful to see some new routes rather than avoiding stuff for fear of the unknown and doing same stuff every time.
Thanks Gary, much appreciated and you’re very welcome!
New trail edit coming soon after I’ve done some exploring. 👍
Nice to see a local lad doing this! You have helped me find better tracks. Thanks and keep it up!
Cheers Ashley! Thanks for watching and for the kind words. Hope you keep enjoying our content!

Hey guys, Andy here, great to meet you both yesterday, appreciate the time you took out for a natter.
P.s another great edit 🙌🏻😎
Hi Andy! It was great to meet you pal, pleasure was ours, Hugo was an instant fan, sat by your side. He doesn’t do that with everyone!
Give us a shout if you wanna get out sometime. Midfultrailbiker@icloud.com
Another great tour around Rivington, they used to do a race at Rivington many years ago (don’t know if they still do). I know as my brother entered when I was only young.
Cheers dude! I think you’re right, not sure of the details though. Think there was a commonwealth games XC race or similar at Rivington at some point.
@@MindfulTrailBikerI can’t remember much about it, was in the mid to late 90’s my brother took part in one. Hugo’s excitement at the start, so funny!
@@Danny_Transition_Patrol I know bless him 🤣 he didn't move off the sofa when we got home though 😂
@@MindfulTrailBikerthat’s usually what I do after a long ride. Not too bad just hitting the jumps but still a bit tiring.
Nice to see you featured my trail on your video 😉
It’s a bloody belter, thank you for the vision and the effort!
