  • In this video I am sharing how I am coping with loneliness post divorce. I got super sick so I also had to navigate taking care of myself for the first time which sucked and brought up a lot of sad emotions. I am doing better and just took a solo trip for the first time so that video will be up soon! I genuinely love making these videos and we WILL have fun together this fall/winter! My hope for these videos is that it helps you feel less lonely and like you have a friend with you! Much love to you!
    About me:
I was married at 18 years old and am going through the process of divorce at 21. Thank you for watching my journey.

I found you and this video today after searching "living alone after a breakup". I really understand how you're feeling. I've lived with my ex since I was 19. We have been together 13 years. I have never lived alone. I always thought I was so comfortable in my own company but the idea of being completely alone terrifies me. This is my first video I've watched of you and I'm excited to watch more to see how you're coping because I feel so hopeless right now.
Thank you for sharing this. It's helping me a lot.

I was always someone who felt I needed someone to keep me company and after moving abroad I have learned to love spending time with myself and my thoughts. You learn so much more about yourself and are able to connect with your inner being. I love that you’re documenting these visual diaries, you will be able to look back on these videos and see how far you’ve come as well as help others heal that may be feeling the same🫶🏽

@Sam Fournier Can we connect? I love this. I just moved abroad and I am in that space of feeling I need someone. But I am working on being comfortable with my own company.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I highly encourage you to seek freedom from this in Jesus. He came to our earth to free us from our burdens. He wants us to cast our worries, fears, and anxieties on him so that we may live life to the fullest. He wants joy and peace for us. God is not scary, he is our friend and we WANTS to talk to you and have a relationship with you and help you! I highly encourage listening to Transformation Church or Saved not Soft podcast! ♥️I’m praying for you friend

Two things stuck out to me in this video. First you were saying how lonely you'll feel in the winter - I know its easier said than believing but remember God is always with you. That being said secondly, I really thought hard about the part you said about families or couples you see and the decisions they've made. I'm married and have a baby and there are days I still feel lonely since my husband works and I care for my son most of the time. It's intentional decisions made to go out and do things but just because you see a couple together doesn't mean they don't feel lonely. Sending you love and prayers - your videos are really making a difference in my life. I'm also from Ohio too so it feels like talking to a friend. 💞

This video gave me a little smile and some hope. I genuinely was on the verge of tears, and truthfully it happens to me a lot more than I care to admit as a man. I'm rooting for you to master this stage of Life. Just as you said I wouldn't wish those feeling upon anyone. You are more amazing than you realize, and no one out there can fulfill and love yourself better than you can.

I think my biggest issue is just wanting someone to talk to at times. Like good convos. Or wanting someone to share my triumphs and joys with. The hard times can be hard but I find that nobody to share these joys with is even harder. (Even just on a friend level).
I guess as far as going out alone, I enjoy it. I’ve been around so many toxic and annoying and pushy or selfish people that I was feeling relieved that I didn’t have anyone pestering me or dragging me into places and activities that I didn’t even enjoy or being negative or not having to worry that the other person wants to leave early or whatever.
And I’ve also been surrounded by people I couldn’t relate to or connect with and have felt more alone surrounded by them than when I was by myself. One of my fave things personally tho is going on thrift store “treasure hunts.”

idk if you will get the chance to see this but i am currently going through a divorce - one that didn't want to happen. and i am just sitting in bed sick with a cold and thought to myself, "there has to be someone out there who feels what i feel too. like, i can't be the only one with this pain." as soon as i clicked on your video, you shared the same hurt that i have and it brought me to tears. i'm not even a minute into your video but just had to say thank you for being vulnerable. being sick single and alone is hard but i'm glad i'm not the only one that feels this way.

It is a weird feeling after being with someone for so long. I found myself being incredibly anti social this winter, which was odd because I definitely wanted to be around people but also didn't at the same time. It was a strange conflict I ran into.

Lauren…not yet. It’s not your time (not at this time of your video). You are/were still healing. Family, conquering loneliness, releasing suppressed anger…this will all become easier to manage and it will allow you to feel less crazy. I know, I had the same journey many years ago. Many Blessings 🌻

Hello Lauren, thank you for this video!
I know I am a man and probably you don't have many men watching this but I am divorced and have been separated from my wife for the last 3 years.
I am very lonely I still have my kids which I get every weekend but I get you and I understand this feeling it is very good to be able to be comfortable with being alone.
I think this is very important and many people jump straight into another relationship.

I am so glad with your content. I am currently experiencing this thing and it scares me so much, but because of this video it kind of tells me that it's okay. I'll be okay...Just like you I also feel lonely but happy but sad I don't know mixed emotions seeing complete families with the parents and children.like how did they do that? I mean they're lucky❣️❣️
but I'll try to be okay on my own now😌 ...
Maybe someday I'll meet someone who will choose me, but first I need to choose my self.

As someone who is coming out of narcissistic abuse from someone I was in a relationship ship with for three years this hits home so hard. With three little kiddies to look after and also feeling all these types of things and learning to be alone your videos are bringing me so much comfort and weirdly enough, don’t make me feel so alone anymore. Thankyou 🤍

I am currently trying to figure out how to leave my narcissistic husband . Married 13 years. It kills me when I think of how much it will hurt him. I’m very much an empath . I have to keep reminding myself, even when it’s good....how much he’s hurt me .
