That was the hardest part when I had the construction business...finding good reliable help. I had one guy call me on a Sunday night, asking for bail money so he could be at work Monday morning!! 😲😂 I told him don't worry about coming to work. Sounds like you need to work on yourself first!
Also on the hats, maybe not plumbing under Dyson but 'Dyson (logo) plumbing' across in one line? Logo might be a little off center but in my mind that looks alright. Super cool getting your dudes all outfitted!
@@gloriousapplebees I’m getting the hats done again. I’m getting just a water drop logo with a pipe wrench in it off centered on the bottom left corner. Thinking about putting the company name on the back or doing a Texas shape on the side.
I have all the service work I want. I deal with commercial properties so getting one customer usually results in tons of recurring work. On the commercial side it’s not that competitive and really in demand.
No remorse! If someone can't be trusted for basic responsibilities, they can't handle carrying the torch for your company. I bite my tongue, and change my actions every fucking day of my life just to accommodate whatever customer I have. If a new employee doesn't realize that, they are worthless, no matter how skilled they are.
He was going through a lot of personal stuff. I think he was really distracted and all the dudes at my company are legit badasses. I think it was intimidating for him to work on These big jobs with the hard mother fuckers on my crew. He was ok but I just can’t risk the hit to the team.
I think on the next batch of hats, I’m just gonna do the little water drop with the ranch logo by itself in the bottom corner. Make it a little bit bigger and stick it off in the corner
Bag traps are junk! I switched to glue line traps years ago. Clear primer and clear glue and a no-hub clamp on the trap arm. It costs more upfront but hopefully prevents a callback later!
It’s just way not standard around here. You’ll end up pissing off all of the building engineers and facility guys at these buildings with that. I agree with you on it being a better product and the cost difference is negligible and wouldn’t make a difference. It’s just not what people use around here and everyone uses slip joint p traps on everything that’s 1 1/2.
Btw thank you for the video, "So u wana be a plumber" I feel like in my early 30s its not really worth it maybe if i was 19 y.o and started way back. I'm gonna go back and go finish my degree in accounting.
It's also not kind to enable someone's weaknesses.

Understand that guess it just wasn’t meant to work out
Logo not bad at all, i dont think it looks janky. Ida centered it on the hats though

How do I get a hat and shirt?

It’s not a bad idea. Plumbing is hardly ever worth it for most guys.
