I've been watching you with my American friends. They said they wished they had heard you sharing your success secrets 50 years ago. They did a lot of stumbling in their lives and did not realize they were still moving forward/ accomplishing a lot. Keep up the good work! We appreciate your lessons.

That's a gratis mantra, stumbling forward it's the motivation that most of us need, because in sometimes we can't continue learning by fears you know. At this moment my objective it's to be an excelent English speaker, writer, whatever that I have to do to understand this, I've been practicing this well for 2 years more or less, because I'm in the university and to learn English it's something very very important to get a good job. It's the difference between a normal job and to get a successful job. That's my objective. And now at 11 am I'm going to have my partial exam of English 6 on Berlitz and I was Nervous about but now I can feel the big day in my hands 😊. Thank You

I have been learning English for many years, but my learning wasn't successful. Maybe, because I used traditional technique, when you are just learning grammar rules and do many translations of boring texts (our teachers thought it was the right way of learning foreign language). But it didn't work. And decided to find new methods or approaches of learning English, more effective. So, I wanna be fluent 'cause I wanna be a good teacher of English and a good interpreter at the same time. Your videos are really helpful, thanks a lot

well, I have been studying English in order to get my goals in aviation, because all the manual, check list, GPS system information is in English so I need also being fluent to talk to the passengers and air traffic control.
I am going to perform a test here in Brazil about aviation so after getting a great level I believe that I will be able to get a job, make more money and flying international flights so it is amazing
I wanna say to thanks so much because 10 month ago I didn't have any knowledge in English and I followed step by step that you said ( fluency team, set goal and stuff like that) and now I will be able to get my goal.
    thanks a lot

I've come from watching a couple of these videos and I've noticed that you're excellent at expressing your thoughts, It's kinda fast to me but I can understand almost everything you said, as you said you speak at a native or faster than a native sometimes but what makes it easy to understand is that basically you give many examples for the same point, that's not bad at all, you may have a transcription 'cause I don't imagine how you manage to keep talking for over 15 minutes without slowing down or cuts, the reason why I point this is because some people have certain misconception of what a native speaker should sound like, I really doubt that someone with no preparation for this video would do it as well as you did, however, you may just be so passionate about what you're talking, I find it inspiring.

Hello Drew! Thank you so much for that engrossing and valuable lesson. I would like to get fluent in English because as I am an English teacher, I have augmented my skills by watching your incredible lessons. My goal is to be a great English teacher, I work with kids as they inspire me and give me lots of energy. In spite of the fact that I can work with adults as well, I still enjoy working with kids. I also worked for Medicines Sans Frontiers and SOS Children Village where I had to speak only in English. I want to get fluent as I want to seize opportunity to work in other countries, work in humanitarian organizations. I also embraced opportunity to work as a tutor in one of the institutes in my country. I am 33 years old and I have a big desire for learning English and yes as you mentioned to stumble and go forward. I am besotted with that idea to be fluent in English and I love your lessons. The way you speak, how energetic you are, it encourages me. It is so obvious how you love what you do :).
What made you become an English guide? Why you decided to move to Japan, why namely Japan?
    Thank you very much.

Actually there are a couple reasons pushing me to learn English. I love to travel and I think the English language will help me a lot to communicate with people around the world. I also like English, the way it sounds, its grammar, its spelling, everything. And finally, I think it will help me to become a smarter person and especially more powerful in my career.
Now I'd like to say thank you, Drew because your channel helps a lot with it. I really enjoy it and like your tips. ✌

i loved the idea of "stumbling forward" , Actually the minute you started explaining it, this thought hit me i was like yeah this's how i work things out sometimes and i do see some progress a little after! thanks for bringing this up because i tend to over plan and unfortunately i end up not making any effort to continue or even to start as opposed to planning a little and working a lot more because in the end it's a numbers game when it comes to speaking and listening, the more you do it the better you become at it.

This TH-cam channel is my favorite one :) Really helpful in terms of language, grammar, fluency... Other than that it's awesome that you are sharing your ideas on learning, teaching, life in general, and your life experience :) Love to watch these lessons, you have a pretty well built and structured teaching system. It's great to have different types of lessons and different topics to think about.
I moved to US two years ago and it's still hard to communicate with people sometimes. Ok, not sometimes, mostly :) I was trying to find a good internet resource and finally found this one last year. Was really happy about it because you give some information about American culture and life style which is a big part of understanding of the language as well. So I appreciate your work very much and always curious about your next step :)

I want to become fluent because all my life I've been struggling with the English due to the way my teachers taught me. (It was in Spanish, so confusing and really boring). Until finally one day I decided to take the decision of moving to the UK. There, I learnt I could do it, and I have improved, I have many things to learn, though. Also, because of my job (I am a teacher) I want to keep all the knowledge I got and keep improving. Moreover, I would like to keep in touch with some friends I made and have nice conversations with them, talking without hesitate, explaining myself the same (or very similar) as I would do in Spanish and rub out the feeling of being afraid of forgetting the English I learnt.

Thank you for your amazing videos :) I want to be fluent to be able to travel and communicate easily with native speakers, I also hope to work in Silicon valley and gaining masters degree from MIT, becoming fluent in English will enable me to communicate and work with anyone in the world in different projects which I couldn't find in my place :)
