Good morning dear loving Shana. Thanks for spending your time with me. Enjoy the lovely day. I bless you and your family members. Stay healthy .🌹🌹🌹🙏👍♥️👌🌺🌺🤗💞
Your videos have been so helpful to me! Your tips are just so intelligent and accurate. I've been getting into asanas I thought my body wasn't prepared for just by following your instructions. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Love from Brazil.
Lovely 😀😍smile Shana I love your funny teaching. I love 💕 so much you . Benefits explain. Thanks 🙏 you are a nice human. I love your attitude. Thanks 🙏 take care my lovely lady.
In my experience, balancing in tree pose has everything to do with overall stiffness in the shoulders and torso area. Being stiff (as I used to be) means that muscle actions are not independent, which causes even the slightest adjustments (such as the tilting of the head) to ripple down through the entire posture. Being more flexible (as I am now) means that you can feel, tweak and adjust every bit of the pose independently (you've seen those dancers doing arm popping and isolation moves? that's what you're aiming at). Then balance in tree becomes effortless, it almost feels like cheating. I would recommend the "wall slides" exercise (stand back to wall, raise shoulders up while keeping contact with the fall) as a flexibility test. If you struggle and feel that your muscles tense up and hold you down during the final phase of the wall slide, and you go into a backbend while losing contact with the wall, then you have a problem there. The solution is not trying tree pose, but a couple (maybe 10) slow wall slides every morning to loosen up some of the mysterious parts inside of you. (I'm pretty sure Shana can do and hold a full wall slide while not feeling anything much.)
Always love your comments. Thanks for the tips! This video isn’t about how to do tree, though...rather how to shift the gaze. My tree tutorial is separate at m.th-cam.com/video/e1lz1arUeWc/w-d-xo.html And I believe you gave some great feedback there, too!
Something I also like to do to test myself when I am locked into a standing balance pose sometimes is to close my eyes. The trick is to use your imagination - really focused - like you can still see your focus-point through your closed eyelids. It works.... sometimes! 😸
@@YOGAthletica yup ... how to lift one leg in urdhwa dhanurasana ... And standing wheel means... start in standing position, then bend backward to achieve urdhwadhanurasa . Thanks for your reply
Great tip! I love how you displayed how to do it too. I struggled with staying in balance once I moved my gaze and now I understand that I’m doing it too fast without intention after watching your video. What’s the rush anyways? Yoga is all about going your pace. Thank you!
Dearest shana. I missed your yoga program .I weren't at home my mobile phone when I go outside it is not working my internet. That reson I could not do with you contact or reply. Every thing is ok you? I am ok. Take care your self. 👍♥️🤗🌹💐💐💐💋🙏😍😯💞

Namaste, I am grateful that the ancient wisdom of INDIA and Hinduism ( yoga and meditation) is being appreciated and adapted all over the world now...

@@YOGAthletica Ah, but you're not just shifting the gaze, you are doing a neck extension and a backward head tilt!

And using the BREATH as well is so important, of course!
I do the same! Stare at a spot and burn it into my mind’s eye and then try to keep “seeing it” as my eyes close. Great minds think alike! 😀
@@YOGAthletica YES! It takes a powerful mind - like ours - to do something like that, no doubt
