Ight y’all so look, fabric dye cannot dye another really besides cotton, so your vinyl shirts are good, if they have a sewn in design then it might be an issue, but still it might be polyester. Also with hats with patches, same with pants, most of these patches are made with polyester so that they don’t fray, so the dying process will not fuck with it
If you're worried about colors bleeding in the wash. Get dye magnet sheets to add to your wash to catch bleeding dye.
