It's such a coincidence you have this video series up. I was just talking to a friend of mine literally two nights ago about these things and how they are Dynacos exactly.
Very cool can't wait. In the 80s I had a Sunn Betabass combo 2 x 15 inch cabinet @100 watts. Solid state but very powerful. I never had the foot switch. It had 2 separate channels of EQ. So you can set one clean and pump up the gain on the other channel and make it sound like Jack Bruce. I used to have to do it by hand by unplugging the cable into a different input on the fly. Fantastic amp. It did break down twice and then I started getting radio stations broadcasted on it. Ended up selling it for next to nothing totally regret it! It didn't survive the punk rock heavy metal years!
We all have regrets of the gear that got away. My bassists still mourns the loss of his Sunn 2000S which he sold for a song when he was broke one time. Most of my gear is long gone for one reason or another... oh well.
