Not only is this a great song, this is a stellar performance of it. I love that Brian starts out on the piano with his guitar in his lap at the ready. When it is guitar time, Freddie takes over on the keys. What a talented band. I believe this is Montreal 1981 concert.
Hey Pluto I think this queen live montreal November 1981 FYI it’s showing in 70mm IMAX worldwide for one weekend only this coming weekend, I’d recommend going if you have IMAX near you
This concert is being shown in around 140 Imax places around the world for the next few days only you'll find details on Queen, Sir Brian May social media accounts
Brian penned this beauty about friend & bandmate Freddie, who was going thru a difficult break-up! It’s speculated that the song was written when Freddie’s relationship with American Chef Joe Fanelli had just ended. Later, Joe Fanelli would become Freddie’s private chef at Garden Lodge (Fred’s home). 🏠
React to the Queen (1973) it could be a fantastic chronological reaction series!!! Like, knowing all the songs and knowing who wrote each song and getting to know each members writing style. You can count on me I'll be there watching😊
You can see the Montreal 81 concert too here on TH-cam. Also, you should look up the Montreal 81 concert commentary by Brian and Roger who talk about great stuff while watching the whole concert. Very interesting and entertaining. Lovely to hear them talk about Freddie and John and share their thoughts and memories 😊
Me too, i’m going tonight. It’s my favorite concert of theirs. I actually got to see them live a couple months ago, it was such a wonderful experience.
I'm speechless! Very amazing Band. Very professional when Freddie go to Brian and start to sing. I also love the switching part when Freddie need to play piano and Brian on Guitar. This is Live performance but it's Perfect! Thank you Pluto. As always, I love Freddie and Queen - Forever!!!❤❤❤❤
Thanks! This is a fantastic song from the same 1981 concert as one of the best versions of "Somebody to Love"... Freddie is dynamic, as usual.. but ALSO.. Brian is amazing... starting on keys, with his guitar in his LAP, also singing harmony (he wrote this, BTW).. then shows up on guitar solo... oh, and not just an "afterthought"... John on bass & Roger on drums & vocals... appreciate your listen!
Such agreat song written by Brian (great composer) and frddie's vocals are insane chills everytime I listen to 6his one frddie's voice gives you chills ans goosebumps he just know how to tell a story by singing queen is outstanding band❤❤
Awww, one of my very favorite performances. I’m so excited, I’m going to see the Montreal concert at the IMAX tonight. This is my favorite concert of theirs.
this album had two Billboard number one hits: Crazy little thing called love and Another one bites the dust, but this was the best written song from that album, thanks Brian
You might want to listen to the Sheer Heart Attack album. That one has several songs on it that you have not covered or Jazz. This was from the Montreal concert in 1981. Thanks for all your reactions!
Queen 2 is my choice. So far most of your reactions are from the late 70s, to early 80s. Queen 2 has a much harder rock edge. 1974 Queen was part of the Glam Rock movement. It would be interesting to see. How you feel about this early, & completely different, style of music.
Brian actually started with piano first before pivoting to the guitar. Yes i would very much be interested in your reactions to whole albums; probably best in chronological order. It's just that the time difference (Australia) will make it unlikely that i would be able to join you live.
Just a suggestion to your channel, always....ALWAYS play Queen live versions as opposed to the studio version. There has never been a band like Queen that sounds better live than in the studio version! Keep on exploring Queen, you've only just begun...
@Pluto_Please Album/Concert listen-to get-together? Heck yes! You name it, I'll be with you and everyone (but, please not 'Hot Space -- my least favorite album). What a great time 🙂

Listen to Queen's first album. It's entitled Queen. It will be great to know were they came from.

You should definitely check out their debut album from 1973 that'll be fire🔥 the beginning of these legends

Pluto, please react to “Keep Passing the Open Windows”. Queen official lyric video, thanks.
Please watch the movie Bohemian Rapsody about his life.

Thank youuuu!!! I’m definitely working on a listening party soon 👀🚀👑
It looks like you already know the song??
He knew he had aids and was dying. So did his band. He died 10 years after this concert.
He didn't know at this point. He would know only 6 years after this concert.
