We always love trying out Tim Hortons in different countries. A few days after filming this video we actually went back to Canada and tried Tim Hortons again (we made a video about it) and we have to say: You should really go to Canada to try the real deal! 😅 However, in our next video we will try more things from the UK and this time we will focus on a controversial item: Marmite! Thanks for watching! 😊 - Brandon & Anja
Loving your video reviews, In Ireland, traditionally we toast our pancakes and eat them with butter. I remember the shock when I asked for this in the states at IHOP !
Thanks for subscribing! Judging by the flag that shows up with your username, we're going to assume you're from the Netherlands? We're likely going to head there soon to make some videos, hopefully. 🤞 If you're from there, we need lots of food suggestions for things to try!
@@wherearewe-yt Yes, I'm Dutch 😊 my favorite food is from Chinese~Indonesian restaurants but typical Dutch fast-food would be frikandel speciaal (with currysauce not ketchup!), kroket, kaas soufflé ,bitterballen...especially in Amsterdam and Rotterdam there are many different restaurants for you to choose from (I can't recommend a specific place because I'm caregiver to my dad so I don't travel) but I'm sure you both will find the right places 😊
@@BettaChristina We'll have to all of these things! We'll definitely include some Indonesian food, as we know that's super popular in the Netherlands. We will do our best to find some authentic places! We have a friend that lives there with her fiance (who's from there), so I'm sure they could help.
Are you still in Belfast? You should try brights for the best breakfast it’s right down the street from blinkers, also common market which has tonnes of little amazing food choices in one spot! Also another great place to try is Pablos for burgers
We quite liked them as well! Not sure that we'd be going out of our way to go there for burgers, but if we were in the area, I would pop in every now and then for one. 🍔
Hey, if your still in Belfast, tayto spring onion is a great flavor you won't get in many other places, attaboy is the best Maine flavour and Kelly's cellars is the best bar an the three c's is the cheapest in the town for drinks, enjoy
@tclawson We're no longer there, but thanks for the suggestion! We have a few others recommended the Attaboy as well. Wish we could have tried em' all! We went to Kelly's Cellars on our first Belfast video. We went to Maddens as well, but we didn't film it!
Brandon is like the exact spitting image of my friend, even down to the beard and hat, and being covered in tattoos. It's very strange to hear a Canadian accent coming from you, rather than a Scottish one lol. I think I've only had a raspberry or strawberry lemonade and 1 donut ever from TIm Hortons and they were years ago, they were pretty good though.
Hahaha. Too funny! We're actually headed to Scotland soon to make some videos. One of which we will be visiting the Isle of Eigg. Apparently, that's where some of my family came from, on my dad's side. We want to see if we can find anything to confirm this.
I tried the Tim Hortons that opened in my home town in the UK and it's by far the worst fast food I've ever had. Not one thing was good. I've never been since, compared to all the other places nearby it's the quietest too so I guess I wasn't alone in thinking it was bad.
Hahaha. We didn't think it was THAT bad! For us, it's a nostalgia thing. Though a lot of the items we tried never existed back when we were living in Canada. There's no reason to go there for burgers, fries and the rest of the "fast food" types of items if you've got literally any other fast food items nearby. Curious, what did you try?? The Timbits, Iced Capps, and coffee are decent..though admittedly, we recently had these items back in Canada, and realized they are better there..😅
As someone in the UK, I've been disappointed with Tim Hortons doughnuts, the quality seems to be so variable. With the prices for one doughnut, it doesn't seem worth it if you don't know what kind of quality you'll get.
Yeah, definitely. I (Anja) had a donut from Tim Hortons in Manchester before and I actually thought it was great (but suuuuper pricey. I think it was close to 3 pounds which is crazy). But this time when we filmed this video the donuts were not very good at all. So it seems to depend on location or just luck. The Timbits were good but the donuts were not worth it this time around. You can get better donuts at the grocery store for less money. We actually visited Canada for a couple months after filming this video and we tried Tim Hortons again and it was much better, and so much cheaper.
If we lived in the UK, I reckon we'd go every so often for things like the breakfast, coffee, Timbits, or the Iced Capps...but for the majority of the "lunch" food items, we likely wouldn't. They felt a bit too pricy! We filmed a Tim's video in Canada two months after this, and we felt like there was a pretty significant price difference. It's much more affordable back home!
@@wherearewe-yt yeah I seem to remember the prices were more restaurant prices than fast food. I have an issue with counter service restaurants (looking at five guys here) charging £20+ for burger, fries and a drink when you have to hang around for it and hope you can sneak a table.
It was pretty good! And stacked. Suppose that's why they call it a stacker. 😂 Compared to some of the other items (burger, chicken tenders), the breakfast sandwich is a good deal. If you make it a combo, it's even cheaper.
@@PamelaD963 It's worth a try, at least once! Not sure if you have a sweet tooth or not, but the Timbits are also worth a try. You can purchase them individually in restaurant, but have to buy a full box if you order through a delivery app (which is weird).
Honestly, pretty similar back in Canada these days in regards to the staff. We filmed a video there as well, and they messed up something in BOTH of our orders. 😂 But the donuts were much better in Canada, for sure.
Only thing worth getting from Tim Hortons is the French vanilla latte everything else is mediocre it’s a shame as I was looking forward to Timmy’s coming over here

Pancakes need butter for sure! That's definitely what these ones were missing.
Thanks for watching our videos! 🍻
Americans like syrup with them .
In Scotland we have butter and jam.
Me watching this and eating pancakes for dinner 😊

Sadly, he is drinking it on a summer’s day, but it’s an Irish summer.
This was actually filmed just after Easter! We're way behind. Hahaha.
Belfast Tim Hortons been a few times
How'd you like it? We recently went back to Canada to film a comparison video, and it became pretty clear that they are quite different!
Honestly it was just like most places if you know what I mean very quick service and very packed most days I enjoyed the coffee mostly .

The ones I’ve been to have had very disinterested staff with slow service. I don’t rate the donuts either.
