Thank you for this Video. I have had my fish for two month's or so now. They have only had frozen blood worm's. I got the live daphnia and realised I didn't know how much or how long I should add them for. As I only have 4 puffers, I won't add the whole bag. Thanks again. Liked ad subscribed 👍
I just got one yesterday, how much bloodworms do I feed and how long do I let the uneaten ones stay before pulling them out? Also how often should I feed, it's tiny, just a baby. Keep up the videos, nice to have a channel exclusive to pea puffers.
Sweet! If it's only a baby I would only feed a 2 of live worms once to twice a day depending on how much he/she will eat. If the bloodworms are frozen I would cut out a quarter of a cube and then half that for each feed, wait up to half an hour and then net the last bits out. If it's a baby then I would do one small feed in the morning and one small feed in the evening and see how that goes. Thanks and glad you are finding the channel useful!
@@peapufferkingdom118 a video on how to clean the tank without sucking them up in the vacuum hise will be helpful. I might have to buy a less poweful hose!
Hi! I know this video is old now but I'm new to your channel. May I ask if the puffers eat all the daphnia? I'm having trouble feeding them as they won't eat moina and this video could give me some answers. Thanks!
Exactly what i was looking for
Such a great video! Love the music too 😊
Rachel Salisbury Thank you so much Rachel. New episode will be out on the 1st February. Stay tuned as it’s a big one!

Daphnia super easy to culture if you've got a 20L tank with a simple light that's all you need
So good can’t wait till you get big

Very true. I will be doing a video soon that will include these types of things. Don't want those cuties being vacuumed!

How many species of freshwater pufferfish are there?
There are well over 110 with only a quarter of them being freshwater like these Pea Puffer fish. The way each species looks various so much.
