About 2300 years ago, this region and whole of sub continent and parts of Afghanistan were under Ashok Azam and Chandar Gupta Muria. One of them were the follower of Bhudha. Some Muslim scholars feel that Bhudha was a messenger of Allah in this religion, and his teachers were to believe and pray only one God and not statues. Later on, his followers developed his statues
I am Buddhist love from Hindustan I hope they will preserve Indic architectures as we have more mosques here in India than islamic republic of pakistan and we are 2nd largest Muslim country in population
The Buddhism that became the global religion actually originated from north-central/northern Pakistan (aka Gandhara). This area was historically part of the Greco-Bactrian empire and Indo-Greek states. This was when/where the buddha was first depicted in human form following greek sculptural aesthetics (before this buddhism was only associated with symbols). Through the trade of the Silk Road, Chinese/Eastern consumers were exposed to/liked purchasing these statues of a cool/interesting 'western' religion (kinda like the west's fascination with eastern religion), and through this trade, it was this Indo-Hellenistic form of buddhism that spread to china and east/southeast Asia. This all was from 1000BCE to 1000CE. This particular buddha was completed in the 7th century, and were likely due to buddhist hold-outs in the mountains (it's a shame that it ended up leaving entirely).
@@AshAndDan. I didn't talk about the mountains but if you want to know about the mountains of Pakistan then listen here Pakistan has 40% of the highest mountains in the world, the rest 60% are on the whole planet.these 40%only in Northern pakistan, southern pakistan'mountain are not included, excluded southern pakistan mountains th-cam.com/video/Qx9oj9jTBII/w-d-xo.html
@@AshAndDan. i did not talk about mountains.....! Do you mean that Denmark and Holland have more mountains than Pakistan?I think GB state, the only province of Pakistan, has 40% of the highest mountains in the world, the rest 60% of the mountains are located on the entire planet. If you also include the mountains of West Pakistan and South Pakistan, the percentage will go much higher. th-cam.com/video/Qx9oj9jTBII/w-d-xo.html
Netherlands and Denmark have zero mountains. Their highest points are around 170 meters (Denmark) and 340 meters (Netherlands). That was my point! It’s hard to agree that this part of Pakistan looks like the 2 counties in Europe that do not have one single mountain 😂 and no jealousy whatsoever 👍
People living in mountains of Pakistan mostly have fair skin color because of cold weather, that's why they have resemblance with Europeans, I live in a hot city so my skin color is tan 😂
It's very interesting! We saw some men with the same colour beard and hair as myself (Dan) and yes fair skin! I guess if we lived somewhere warmer we would be more tan... well Ash maybe, but I would be burnt ha
@@AshAndDan. If you visit Pakistan in future then don't forget to visit chitral and kalash valley, people of kalash valley are supposed to be the descendents of Alexander's army personnel, they have local festivals in mid May and mid August where kalash men and women dance, they aren't muslims
