      i use illustrator to design, send that file to be digitized (or use a digitizing software yourself), put the digitized file into your machine and get to stitching

      if you have a good idea on how you will bring in business, who you plan on selling the service too and have realistic expectations. i think this is a good way to make some money. i had no prior hands on experience before i got my machine. i know a lady that has this same machine and all she makes is patches. she cleared 6 figures last year. on just making and selling patches hahaaa

    What were some of the questions that you asked?

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ask who? the embroidery company's? man i asked everything from how long does it tale to learn it, how long to make a hat? can i do embroidery that looks like new era hats? do they service the machines? what if a needle breaks? what if i use the wrong thread? what if i put s needle in backwards? is the machine loud? can i lift it up stairs? ihow hesvy is it? can i just plug it into my standard outlet? is there any fumes? do i need proper ventilation? what the training like? is it all reading? will somebody come out and set the machine up and show me how to use it? can i go to your show room for a training session? can you teach my whole shop to use it? what is the daily maintenance like? what does the routine maintenance consist of? do i buy oil and lubricants from you or can i use aftermarket stuff? what types of tools will i need to fix it? etc..... i had millions of questions. any question you have, ask them. make'em work for it. but also what you need is a company that will stand behind theur machine and be a phone call of a email away when you need help. thats why i went with Ricoma. their customer service beat EVERY other companies by a long shot. dont believe me, check the ricoma link in the description and start asking a rep, all your questions.

      when i first got my machine i bought a shit load of cheap structured hats to practice on. $1 value caps to practice stitching on structured hats. so i didnt mess up real $3-$5 snap backs hahahahaaaa i out source all my digitizing. i use a local kid but digi ninjas and vector magic offer digitizing online. or google digitizers and compare prices. thats if your lookin for a digitizer.

      i didnt show the screen hahahaa after the thread break. i hit the button that says "T.Break" and it goes to "F.L" and press "Stop" that floats backwards slowly. over lap before the thread break. press stop again and then hit the F.L button back to the beginning, where it shows the needle and i think it says "stopped" then you hit "Start"
      im guessing you have the same machine, if you have a different one, the steps might be the same, the buttons might be different. thanks for watchin.
