    12:08 Profit breakdown
    We begin with our first design, a faux chenille terrycloth “R” that we’ll be embroidering onto the left chest of the letterman jacket using our MT-1501. We go over what supplies you’ll need, and which hoops are best to use for each part of this project, depending on the placement of the design and what type of fabric is being used. We then go through the embroidery process step-by-step, so you can see how long it takes to embroider, and what the final design looks like.
    Next, we demonstrate how to embroider a right chest logo, indicating what kind of stabilizer and hoops to use in the process. Then, we move on to the back of our jacket, another faux chenille terrycloth logo, showing you how to hoop, trace, cut and embroider the design along the way. And for our final placement, we embroider another, larger, and more colorful design on the back of our jacket to finish things off.
    Lastly, we discuss the profit potential of embroidering a letterman jacket. We break down how to properly price your garment, so you can be sure to account for the materials purchased, plus the time it took you to create a project like this.

    What’s the difference between the Ricoma MCC- 061201 and Ricoma MT-1501?
    Because I know using the Ricoma MT 1501 you can hoop up jackets and detach the flat table etc. So can’t you hoop up jackets or detach the flat table with the ricoma MCc 061201? Like how the MT 1501 can.
    Because I want an embroidery machine that can do both if possible, but if I can’t detach the flat table and use the different size hoops to directly embroider on the jacket then I’ll have to get a separate chenille machine by itself and figure out how to embroider the border around the chenille part separately.
    So far I’m looking towards the Ricoma MT-1501, as it has a detachable table and it has multiple hoop sizes to directly embroider on big jacks etc. But if the MCC- 061201 can do the same as the MT-1501 but with the added chenille part then I’ll be jumping with joy as my research is complete. That’s if Ricoma brands can ship to the uk that is, if not then I’ll be jumping with sadness 😅.

      I don't know if your question was a suggestion but based on this video I was wondering the same thing because I do a tack down stitch. But what I gather from this video is that is a lot easier to cut out the applique the way he did it. Because he was able to take it off the hoop then trying to cut it out after being attacked down while still being attached to the hoop. I just did a letterman applique type file it was annoying trying to cut around the letters while still being attached in the hoop

      @@irvinoneil I don't know what kinda of hoops you're using but I have mighty hoops and it super easy to cut my appliques. I also have a multi needle machine so it easier than if you have a single needle which I use to have. I would never cut my applique pieces first as now you created an extra unnecessary step and make your process longer. Also you run the risk of possibility not cutting your applique pieces correctly were when you do your satin stitch you may have fabric lifting because you cut to small.

    • @irvinoneil
      @irvinoneil ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fairytalewonders4555 I use mighty hoops and have much needle machine as well depending on how big or small the design is cutting the round attached down piece of fabric can be easy or can be difficult. And you are right. Cutting the applicator design out separately can be a problem if you make a mistake or cut the design too small. But if you know you're exact measurements for your design such as the r letter he used in the video and you're doing multiple garments I don't see it as a waste of time or extra step the way he did it especially if you have a hoop big enough to do multiple hours at one time cut them out play some on a jacket and tack them down
