I'm just a few years younger than tastosis, I first played SC in 1999, I remember playing hundreds of comp stomp games, a ton of games on Big Game Hunter, and many many ladder matches on Lost Temple. 20 some years and 2 kids later, here I am watching tastosis cast in middle of the night. Glad to see Tastosis still living the dream in Korea, and that the SC community is alive. Thanks AfreecaTV.
Playing SC and BW on CRT monitors, with a ball mouse and membrane keyboard, on dial up internet, those were the days. I remember lugging those massive 19 inch CRT monitors as a kid to actual LAN parties
I went and played the mass recall mod(sc1 campaigns in sc2 engine) and its just like the good old days. To slay the beast is way easier than i remember, probably cause zerg is easier to control in sc2. the terran campaigns though are like pulling teeth. sc1 terran feels so slow to play
@@TheCheat_1337 Not lugging it anywhere, but I'm still using a 19" CRT. It's actually great for some modern games. Dark Souls Remastered for example has 4:3 ratio options. I wouldn't want to be moving it anywhere though
Bisu will forever be my most toxic relationship. No matter how many times he'll break my heart as soon as I see him I'll ALWAYS fall back into his big protoss daddy arms.
It's very funny, though I would love to hear more from the zerg perspective sometimes. Lately Tasteless has really been stepping up his toss insight and Arty is amazing as always with terran, so it makes zerg commentary feel a bit lacking by comparison.

And maybe because Mini spanked Zero sooo hard and then the last BO3 was almost an elimination for him but that would have been a really big upset... last year's champion getting eliminated in the round of 16.
Yeah, that confused me a lot. The infographic at the start also said something about "With Flash and Queen both out of the ASL". I think they might have gotten him mixed up with Soma. Both players performed very poorly compared to what's expected of them, but only one got eliminated.
Since Snow and Bisu are my favourite players, seeing them duking it out like that was a treat. I was looking forward to this match up since Bisu came back. Sad to see Bisu eliminated but he needs to focus a bit more and have a little more patience.
Seems like he treated Snow as if he was some B class Protoss on ladder. Thought he could take his ramp with zero to sloppy micro and then harass and expand at the same time in a mirror matchup. He's probably used to getting away with that on ladder but forgot he was facing a titan.

As a newer viewer i always wondered why there was not more archons in PvZ when mutas was out. Then suddenly in one game there was six archons and Tastosis pointed it out as being a healthy sign for the protoss..
If you have perfect control, Mutas can dance forever out of range, so going Archons is a bit risky. Corsairs are generally more reliable at hunting them down in sufficient numbers, unless they get ambushed by Scourge.
Its almost rare to see even at the higher levels to end up with that many Archons vs Zerg. Even if the templar get a storm off and die they often times were cost effective. Shows that Sn0w knows how to take fights while keeping his units alive.
Why are they saying, and the scoreboard saying that Queen isn't in ASL when he got through the Ro16 on day 1 with Mini? I'm rewatching these but I don't understand how they got that wrong, I mean it's highlighted in this video that Queen's still in it.

However, afreeca streaming site is nigh-unuseable for foreigners due to lag so everyone watches on YT = Afreeca doesn't benefit as much = they cancelled the english broadcast. Hopefully it'll be back eventually.
