    Adam I have to tell you that you and your lessons have helped so much. I lost my daughter to sepsis 5 years ago, she was only 25 years old. I fell into a major depression and was drinking heavily. My daughter was a good guitar player and when I was going through her bedroom I found a harmonica in her guitar case. I started messing with it a little bit, and then I found your lessons on you tube. By watching and practicing your lessons kept me going and I could notice myself getting better and kept my mind off my depressing situation and me off the booze! Just want to say thank you..

    Thank you, Adam! In 10 month of playing after your intro classes I have developed my feeling of the instrument to the degree that this riff I played right after your intro part before listening the explanation. You've brought me into life of harmonica. Thank you very much! It worked!

    I can't tell you how much thankful am I for your lessons, Mr. Adam (just Words are too limited..Like my 'proper' english..) You & Jason Ricci helped me articulate my inner voice and that is such a big freedom to me. Like your teacher Nat Riddles once did say to you: "Hello in there, come out." You did the same for me, not in a face to face situation I know, but maybe it was a 'who feel's it, know's it-situation'..just the vibes! I wish you the best which is possible in Life..and NEVA STOP MAKE IT TALK!!! Blessings, Sascha

    Why did I not learn this instrument years ago… I finally took the plunge and now it’s becoming the most amazing thing I’ve ever done. Hooked on this harmonica

    I'm a reasonably advanced player I guess I can bend I can vibrato I can over blow. But I can't tongue block and I really don't want to is tongue blocking necessary?

      @gussowsclassicbluesharmoni2726  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      If you want to play blues, yes. I know very few pro players who CAN'T tongue block. Some players are exclusively TB; those of us who overblow, including Jason Ricci and Carlos del Junco, tend to use TB as one technique among many. But yes, if you're a serious player, you need to learn this. There are certain fantastic sounds that you can ONLY make tongue blocking.
