Dropping the two bolts from under LCA/ball joint to remove/replace coilover is DEFINITELY the quickest way to do this job. And what makes it even better is you can just remove/replace the shock within the coilover just as easily without a spring compressor, that's why I do it this way.
If I lived in Florida I would come down to and make an appointment to double check the installment I had done. The new UCA looks good and I bet it's rides real smooth
wheres you store, i am having bad times after install in some place my dobison ims, i want to know if can go to store and pay just to check everything is ok, i am in orlando where you locate?
Depends how much lift you're going for, what travel the struts are and how big of a tire You're trying to put. Jba will hit the coils with Dobinsons extended travel struts for example. Bigger tires and more lift needs more caster and camber, so being able to adjust those is key

Very smooth!! It's definitely noticeably better than the uniball UCA's I took off
Did you add the spacer? In 9:18 it looks like you added a spacer on the passenger side but on the drivers side, I don't see it.
Yeah both sides have the spacer installed
Did you install the spacer at the front or the rear side for a Tacoma?
Depends how much caster you want. The rear most likely
Hey man. How much do these weigh. Or can I find any specs somewhere. Want to ship them thanks
About 22lbs in the box
@ hey thanks a lot. Making a trip to Aussie I might have to carry those home with me for the price difference from Canada to Australia
do you guys sell those mount that you put your reservoir?
Yes but I don't recommend them unless you're prepared to relocate your washer bottle. Better to run the brackets that they come with
Are the ball joints mounted on at a angle? Looks like they are so they might have a greater clearance
Yes they are. The mounting position is rotated so they're at a more neutral position when lifted, and also gives more articulation
What torque spec on the castle nut?
how was your alignment after the lift? Back to spec?
Great truck!!!
Way better. 4.5 degrees of caster and everything else perfect
@@ExitOffroad Meaning it all aligned great afterwards? I’m working on a 2.5” lift and am thinking of those dobs billets.
Correct
@@ExitOffroad thank you! Appreciate you!

Dobinsons or JBAs?
I'm not sure if i need the adjustments of the Dobinson. How would i know?

@@ExitOffroad I have about 2.5" suspension lift. Putting on 295/70 tires (34s), and a -12 offset rim.
I haven't heard many issues with the JBAs
