      Itu semua beneran bisa terjadi, kalo permukaan air yg di sumur lebih tinggi dari permukaan tanah kebun nya. Dan kalo beneran geografisnya spt paparan saya, maka pemasangan drum itu tidak diperlukan. Lgsg aja pasang selang dan sedot...... 🤪

    Esto es un simple sifón y funcionará siempre y cuando el nivel de agua del pozo esté mas alto que la salida, como viendo el vídeo no se aprecian los niveles, puede que sea posible o no, pero milagros no hay, solo es cuestión de niveles de agua...

    It's an excellent idea most importantly to us living in rural areas wherein the location is somewhat hilly where water supply could hardly be attained.       Unfortunately this only works if the outlet is lower than the water level in the water reservoir. But in this case you don't need a barrel, just a hose or pipes prefilled with water. But you can't get water out of a deep well without an input of external energy. Videos showing the opposite are fakes like this one.

    good morning . your drum will create a vacuum because the pipe that coming from your well which are going to your drum are not the same size . input and output should be the same size otherwise it will cerate a vacuum.

      Sizes of pipes are not relevant. If the outlet is higher than the water level in the well this does not work, never mind what sizes of pipes are used.

Lo había visto con garrafones de agua y no era solo sifón si no que así como aquí mezclan el vacío y crea un ciclo de vaciado x debajo del tam o y el vacío por el volumen que sale jala agua por el tubo más chico que viene del pozo.y siempre se debe cuidar el sellado perfecto del tam o para no perder el vacío generado Los felicito.

    Excellent ...Using simple basic principles and showing how suction work..Agreed when we are young in teens ( or below 10 ) from a water tube we used create vacuum by pulling air in the tube thru mouth and water flowed thru the tube ...This experiment had shown the same vaccuum can be continously created with a barrel ontop of the well....( Note..Water level in the well has to be optimum to create such a suction )...
    Thanks for showing how basic physics and engineering principles work..Good idea...you had shown to everyone to think simple, frugal innovation....👍👌👏👏🙏

      No, this vacuum can not be continuously created with a barrel on top of the well. These "free energy water pumps" pop up presently in TH-cam one every week! All of them with the same arrangement, all of them are scams. To move water from a lower level to a higher level needs a continuous input of energy. Where does it come from? If these devices would work they would be in use since a long time. Are you really not aware that TH-cam is full of such scams? Ask anyone who is really competent in physics. This doesn't work, it would violate conservation of energy. And how do you explain that vacuum is strong enough to suck water out of a deep well but at the same time it let's water poor out less high instead of sucking it back?

    I have been trying to make a hydrostatic pump work since 2014 and didn't think this design could work as the air pressure should also hold up the water on the water-out side of the device. The fact that the outlet pipe is so long and can build up water momentum sufficiently to overcome the air pressure AND prevent the ingress of air bubbles that would "break the vacuum in the oil drum has allowed it to cause sufficient maintained vacuum on the intake side that air pressure is lifting the water up the riser. Well done! I could kick myself for not realising this sooner! The other vertical pipe acts as a bubble trap just in case air bubbles can be "reverse-entrained" into the outlet pipe and eventually compromise the vacuum. It's a neat gravity/ vacuum/air pressure pump. Stick a turbine in the outlet and generate some electricity! You will still get the water you need anyway, albeit a bit later due to some reduced flow.

      There are specific requirements which have to be met in order for this system to work.
      1) There must be no air leaks.
      2) It must have a one way valve at the bottom of the supply pipe in the well so that you can fill the lines with water at the start.
      3) The drum water volume must be larger than the volume of water in the supply pipe.
      4) The outlet pipe water volume must be many more times in volume than the volume of water in the supply pipe.
      5) The barrel size controls the amount of vacuum sucking the water, more barrels suck more water.
      This is simply a siphon, but the vacuum, which is created by the water draining from the tank, cancels out the difference in height between the source and outlet. In a normal siphon the outlet is required to be at the same level or lower than the water source. But the vacuum in the tank will suck water from a lower source of water, under one condition, when the volume of water in the outlet pipe is greater than the volume of water in the source pipe. So long as you fulfill these requirements then this system will pump water from a well which is 10 meters deep or less.

      @@timmitchell5812 Thanks Tim, I can see how those "ground conditions" must be met. I am going to see if I can get a smaller unit to operate. It's a bit counterintuitive at first glance, as the pressure conditions look like neither outlet nor inlet are under different conditions. The inlet is a "flying siphon" by the looks of it. Thanks again.

      @@timmitchell5812 Hi Tim, have you ever tried this system successfully ? I see many contradicting opinions. I agree that sizes matter here . The ratios between barrel size, and pipes must be studied carefully. I wish to find a physics formula for all sizes and formulas.

      The only way this would work is if the outlet hose was actually lower than the well and then it would have a siphon. If this actually worked they would have been vented perpetual energy which is impossible. Don't be fooled this is a garbage video.

    Is the outlet above or below the water level in the well?
    I want this to work, but can't get the physics to agree with me.

      Did you notice the water on the ground near the well. This is working only the high ground to low ground it is not miracle

      The physics of this trick is as follows: if the outlet is below the water level of the well then a simple hose can do better than their trick; if the outlet is above the water then the water is streaming from the pre-filled drum until it is emptied.

      I think it will work in the same ground as well for sometime, because inside the air is used instead of water as a pulling force..

    เป็นไปได้ เเนื่องจากน้ำในถังไหลออกทางท่อปลายเปิด เมื่อน้ำลดลง ก็จะเกิดแรงดึงน้ำในท่อที่อยู่ในบ่อเข้ามาแทนที่ ใช้หลักการเช่นเดียวกันกับกกาลักน้ำ
