This was such an enjoyable audit. All officers involved could have had a better attitude about it. The disdain they have for the public is visible here in a unique way. They don't act like they work for or serve the public at all. Lying and blagging come so natural to them instead of just admitting fault on what are rather minor things. These officers don't know it, but acting like this is what's driving an ever-growing wedge between the police/public relationship. This is coming from someone generally very fond and respectful of the police. No one should judge the whole force based on the minority worst of them. Having just watche'd a video of a police officer abusing auditors with foul mouthed insulting remarks it was a pleasure to watch this. Polite, informed and to the point. How may officers abuse the system by covert recording and denying any knowledge of their own procedures. It's a violation of rights and anything recorded is legally inadmissable. How dumb are they? Manhandling someone walking through an open gate with no warning signs is also unacceptable. Police can no longer rely on uninformed members of the public just complying. They resent it hence the abuse. Totally lack of realisation that auditing arose as a result of police abusing power. Cameras are displaying what previously was rigorously denied and courts believed.
