kendall saying "i love you but i can't forgive you" has to be one of the highlights of the show for me. i know he's not real but i'm just so proud of him for having the strength to say that when he knew he would likely never speak to his dad again. it's so hard to do that with an abusive parent, to be objective and draw a line even when you know they're going or they're gone. the way the show moves on from now is such a good study of mourning an abuser, the complexity of it and the contradictions in your own feelings.
And now from here, every episode is a Masterpiece Season 4 went crazy after episode 3 Plus it was wild on the internet when this episode aired I wished you watched it live
"so, when Logan passes..." me, knowing this episode 💀 not you mis-spoking funeral instead of a wedding 💀 Also I just love Jesse speaking how they filmed a continuous shot at the boat, and how this episode is reflecting on people receiving news about their close ones through calls and videos.
Yup, Logan hit Roman for ordering a lobster. We also saw Logan knock a tooth out over a comment that hurt his pride. He seems to only physically assault Roman.
Woah. The irony of you accidentally calling the wedding a “funeral” and the VERY NEXT SCENE is when Roman gets that phone call from Tom that changes everything. Holy moly
I highly recommend the making a scene TH-cam video for this episode. I think it’s from vanity fair. The Director breaks down how they shot the scene, how the scene evolved from Tom just on the phone to seeing Tom in the airplane. How The performances came together. And why they decided to make Logan’s death like this. It’s extremely fascinating
I was still pleading for Logan to pull through somehow someway but something so damning about the way everyone's favourite right-hand man Frank, or just mine, cuts to the chase no BS I think he's gone... I think he went".
it's been so long but yay! it's here. watching this when it aired was a surreal experience. i felt like i was in that boat w the kids not knowing if it's real. I think about how roman's call with his dad was the most he stood up against logan (knowing how much logan abused him as a child and even now) and then he died - like what does that do to someone like roman...
