My great, great, great grand parents were from England according to US Census records. Since I will never get the chance to visit overseas, I decided to purchase a coin after contacting another TH-cam blogger showed off some coins he found metal detecting. It turned out to be almost identical to the one you found. It is a 1561 Queen Elizabeth 1 Threepence with the rose behind her head.
