Trying to start in the motor trades myself at the moment, just gaining some budgets from pre-purchase inspections and diagnostics small business I run at the moment. Was quite shocked with AutoTrader prices to be fair. I'd say I think that what makes people confident in the garages that are listed there, but seen so many shitboxes and dodgy dealers there. Probs not less than on FB marketplace. Anyways, wish you luck! Keep us posted!

Most dealers I know hate Autotrader due to cost and the power they have on controlling the market, etc., but they ALL advertise with them and pay thousands per month for the privilege! You are looking at it pragmatically, and thinking that if AT turns your stock monthly then it makes perfect sense.... All the best! Autotrader is embedded in every car driver's. Brain !. From when they first are looking for a car, then again when they want a change. So on. So forth all through their driving. Career. Good (but expensive) As mentioned in comments. "Low to High". Will get you some hits. On your stock. See you in the next one. 👍👍 Cheers.
Auto trader is crazy expensive but they are the best in the game.if i remember rightly calvin car diary spends about 10k a month on autotrader package 😮😮😮😮😮
Auto trader is the way to go and don't bother with others as waste of money ..... HOWEVER what I advise is to just do spot adds for first few months to keep as much money in the pot so save £4000 on ads and that equates to 2 extra cars which u should turn 4 to 6 times in 3 months so 12 to 18 extra lumps of profit.
Excellent second episode mate. Round by us there used to be Dans Bangers and I couldn’t recall a time I visited where the site wasn’t busy! We used to buy cars back then to run until the MOT was due or it died.

EVERYBODY searches low - high. You will show up EVERY time. Here is a tip for you….. if you’re putting a car up that’s for example £4995 and there are loads on there for that price. Put yours up at £4990 ! It’ll shove it in front of all the others when searched low - high. Good luck 🤞
I would look into own website and spend money promoting it. Having fewer ties in business the better. Can always turn to the advertisement site if needs be.

And if you have 10 cars to get your money’s worth then definitely worth paying for the top sites, but depending on the value of cars, people are doing very well on facebook marketplace as well and its free so. I guess it’s all part of the process. I’ve just bought a cheap Vauxhall Astra 1.4 T, uploaded a video on Sunday, I’m looking forward to uploading the second part and listing it up for sale and moving on to the next.

I've just cancelled advertising with cargurus.
Not much response and unfair price system showing your vehicles are overpriced.
I hate the markers, as it doesn't take into account things like service history / condition.etc. Really do wind me up..
