What impresses me with Mike is, with his TV profile and car/ van selling businesses he could have easily dismissed the you tube " generation" But he seems to have actively embraced them, allowed his name to boost veiws and subscriptions on their channels for seemingly very little in return.

Mike, if you start your own TH-cam channel, I can guarantee there would be a queue of people offering their help for FREE let alone want to work for, and/or with you. Any car channel worth it's salt would be begging to collab, then there are the specialist and general parts manufactures, suppliers fighting to sponsor you. This just goes to show how humble, honest and down to earth you are that you don't realise how successful your channel would be.
To be fair, we don't know how much he makes doing everything else... I respect his decision to leave a younger generation to it... but I'd also hit subscribe if he did start on youtube, and I'm not even some Brewer superfan.

Mike has perfectly explained why tv shows are dying. They made be filmed with better quality but the cost compared to youtube productions is on another level. Im sure he will cross over soon
@@mattsansom644 Not entirely true if TV are commissioning Mike for new projects. Noisy cramped and when it rained it soaked the carpets and you feet because they had spot welded the bulkhead on top of the floor panel and there was an out of balance couple that caused some wayward handling. Once sorted it was far better than anything on the road in terms of handling and roadholding but it remained cramped and relatively noisy and it never moved on from its A series engine and four speed box. Been watching Mike for a long time now..I think he's great. Regardless of who is to blame for a previous fallout....let's face it, people fall out. Humans have been doing it since beginning of time, it doesn't make you a bad person .
In the 1970s there was a small roundabout at the bottom of King's Heath High Street, near the police station. In my Mini I could flick flack through at 30 mph. The Police 1800 behind me could not. The driver was not amused and his look, as he subsequently went past, said it all.

Now he's left wheeler dealers, can't wait to start watching again, always thought he talked vehicles down, humiliated sellers, bought car, passed onto the legendary mr "anstis" motors, then flipped by talking up, and took the credit.
I love Mike, his TV series, along with the likes of TG, whether people want to believe it or not, literally paved the way for automotive TH-cam. Personally I'd live to see a Mike channel and contrary to what he's saying in this podcast I think YT would give him the freedom to do what he does best. A good editor or 2, a good camera/drone man and he's away. The likes of Seen Through Glass or Ollie Heel & Toe quality of production, Matt Armstrongs raw pieces to camera and angle of jeopardy and Auto Alex's fun factor and you've created YT automotive mecca, and Mike with a few cameos could well deliver that. I'm in no way qualified to day this but the pull of 'TV money' must be the only pull for Mike. The TH-camrs I mentioned all had the vision and surrounded themselves with people who can bring those visions to fruition, Mike could easily do the same and with views, retention and sponsorships and I believe he could make it at least financially parable, without any creative shackles and network red tape. Regardless of all that I love and appreciate the man for filling my youth with cracking tele to watch ❤
Wow the ironic insight of the last 10 minutes of the interview, about how expensive it would be to to retire in California (this filmed a couple of weeks ago, before the recent wild fires)
Hi Ben, one of your best podcasts to date! Mike is THE car dude no matter what age you are, lets have a Mike Brewer YT channel! Just my opinion but i feel you are really getting more engaging with your guests and not bigging up your own story! Great stuff!👍👏👏👏♥️🏴

BBC have reduced costs and overheads but the tv license fee continues to rise. TH-cam is the model for broadcasting.
That battle is over. Terrestrial TV is doomed.

Good on ya mike . Regards to a top bloke👍
Time to get Ed ChIna on the podcast
Now he's left wheeler dealers, can't wait to start watching again, always thought he talked vehicles down, humiliated sellers, bought car, passed onto the legendary mr "anstis" motors, then flipped by talking up, and took the credit.
he is right!! the mini is an absolutely amazing car to drive!!
Trouble owning classic cars. Keep reviewing -much appreciated.
Most of us use our life spending money we don't have, to buy things we don't need to impress people we don't like
Mike, you've got to come down to NZ, we love our cars down here and a bit of English Banta, Rodin Cars would be a great place for you to visit
Wow the ironic insight of the last 10 minutes of the interview, about how expensive it would be to to retire in California
(this filmed a couple of weeks ago, before the recent wild fires)
✋️ First American to watch!
Hi Mike please come to Brisbane Australia we have a lot of classic cars here especially mine 😅
Seems a very genuine guy from what I have seen and heard of him. He's had an unbelievable career from finding such a niche market. fair play to him!
Mike brewer is a legend
We need a Mike Brewer Blooper reel from all the cuts from the Wheel dealers series, that TH-cam gold!!
