To any beginners doing this, be patient stretching takes a long time to see results unlike fitness and strength where you start to see results quite quickly. With mobility you need daily consistency for many months.. stick at it!!
I would argue stretching gives faster result than strength. Building muscle takes years. I usually see results from stretching after a few weeks of a daily rutine
100%. It will come faster to some but think in months or years is the best approach

Love the warm-coloured forest. Having done pilates etc for more than 15 years, there were some stretches i had never tried and they were good - especially after a week when there was little time to do helpful exercise. Thanks, Tom.

I don't know what to do about the frog pose. It doesn't change the fact that my hip capsules hurt like crazy. Molly is so adorable. I'm amazed at how patient she is and doesn't bark at all.

I just wanted to let you know I tried this routine this morning because I've been feeling some really bad discomfort on my lower body for a week now. Like a heavy, dragging feeling. After I tried this just once, I feel so much better and lighter. Thank you for sharing your routines ❤

Nice change of pace from V1! I am doing a restart this year after following a few of your beginner videos early last year (then fell hard out of routine).
I have a form question. During the glute stretch where you cross your legs, arching your back, I do not feel much of a stretch other than on the side of my quads, but I can't get much of a stretch other than that. It might be that I'm not flexible enough to sit back far enough, bringing my hips back, because this does feel tight, but if I sit too far back, my front leg that is crossed is very far off the ground and I lose balance.

I don't quite get the crosslegged stretch at 7:50. I must be doing something wrong as I feel 0 stretch. This should target similar areas as the 90:90 position?
I also didn’t get anything out of it. Not sure if I was doing it wrong but yeah you’re not alone
I've been playing with this stretch on people and it appear that quite a few do not. The stretch is for the glutes but more into the medial side. Really try to arch the back and push diagonally backwards into the hip being stretched. You can replace this with just a standard glute strength instead if preferred.

Starting off the new year right!
On the hamstring stretches, should I be more focused on keeping my leg straight, or my torso flat to my thigh? I feel like I can’t do either right now. My hamstrings are *extremely* tight.

thanks for the videos but not gonna lie, you dont need to be doing these outside in a forrest. it doesnt look very comfy or practical.
Appreciate the sentiment. I film outdoors as that is where I usually train, the benefits of Bodyweight / minimalist training
Can anyone help with the stretch that starts at around 8:00. I am unsure what to do about- if i leave a bit of space between my knees my hips just lock and i cannot move even a bit back. If i put knees together i just sit down on the back leg and i do not feel any stretch at all (which means i am doing something very wrong and i am stiff as f and i feel every other stretch very very clearly).
