...I miss being a kid thinking everything was awesome. I found myself singing Dare the other day. Definitely boosted my spirits. Too bad most of these series have become very lackluster since the 80's. All we can do is cherish the memories that molded us into who we are today ✌ Transformers taught me leadership and teamwork
Vince once said in an interview that he was a huge fan of Emerson, Lake and Palmer and you can really hear the influence in the way he wrote this score. You can especially hear it in his soloing on this track. He has his own style, but it's very reminiscent of Keith Emerson's.
I’m not usually that into just straight piano without any modifications, but that piano at the end with Escape perfectly encapsulates my love for this franchise and the find memories I have watching this movie over and over. Funny thing is that I never found any of the deaths traumatizing considering I didn’t grow up with the original show except the movie
I grew up with it Mate. I watched this when I was six years old, I was not traumatised. I only romanticised, and still do to this day, about hope... hope
*as blitzwing Transforms into his brute tank, the nozzle of the tank is pointed directly onto hot rod ready to aim fire, Kup, running directly towards Blitzwing to save Hot Rod, leaps off the ground and lands onto the nozzle of the tank. With his arms, he pulls it away by the last second before Blitwing shoots a purple energy blast, missing Hot Rod from his sight* "Not bad for an old timer"

I like how this incorporates Gone Fishing and Escape.
Gone fishing haha never heard it called that
@@Stevenirons that’s literally the name except its just “fishin” instead of “fishing”
Dare's been a huge comfort song of mine after some recent traumatic events- so finding this extended version is amazing. Tysm!!!!!!!
Listen to this with a good set of headphones, ones that brings out a lot of the background detail.

they sound like being recorded live then the vocals are toned down, you can barely hear it
It’s the instrumental version of dare that was played during botcon 1997
