I took the CCS-P exam. I almost passed. My biggest trip up was I ran out of time on the last domain for diagnosis scenarios. I know I need to work on my time management. I will be taking the exam again. I really like and appreciate how you explains the guidelines and how to apply them to the scenarios. Thanks 🙏
I went to American Career College, and they didn't teach us right. There was a substitute teacher many times, and I realized it was about the money. I didn't understand what was supposed to learn. I understand everything what you are talking about. Thak you. Your an Excellent teacher 👏
Thank you for your videos! I've tried other people's videos. The way you break it down is the best. I'm preparing for my exam and nervous. I think your videos will help prepare me. 💜💛
I am beginner in medical coding, ur guidelines videos are so helpful, I can understand and applicate through ur video ,thankyou so much, ur r the best teachers, pls upload video thing to understand in simple manner, love u so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am in the program for Coding but it's the online format class not (in seat). This is a great explanation for my classes that do not have available lecture and only a syllabus and books. Thank you
YES because i have coded the number 5 question as M84.772A, B20, B37.81 since i used the fracture pathologic instead of the fracture traumatic, since patient had exisiting Candidiasis. I hope someone could explain
@@DBusiness-em6vj this is when you look up what Candidiasis is, a fungal infection. (I saw this often in AIDs patient's during their dental visits) There is no mention of what caused the break, but a fungal infection cannot cause a fracture, it is assumed traumatic. Pathologic referrers to disease, no disease that can contribute to a bone fracture was stated. There is also no mention of stress fracture which would indicate weakened bone which may be the result of a pathological issue. AIDs can weaken bones over time, as can the medications they take, but again this isn't mentioned in the question as a cause, therefore I would assume trauma.
Question #2. My answer was B20 and Z21. Why isn’t B20 in the answers? I went back to guidelines and it says “Do not use this code if the term Aids or HIV is used.” Question 2 says “Asymptomatic patient with a positive HIV test.”I’m confused, can someone help?? Thank you
Thank you! Even when I make mistakes I can refer to the guidelines with clarity because of your clear breakdown.
Bless you for making these videos! They are MASSIVELY helpful to a student coder like myself! Thank you!
You are so welcome @menouthis.
it's better to watch someone explainin the guidelines than readin it yourself. thanks coach. more informative videos.
Exactly! Especially with little to no medical knowledge or background
Yes it is
Thank you for discussing all the guidelines
This is so helpful. I listen to you on my commute and it helps so much to hear these instead of reading

Go to the end of this video. I have already started giving practice questions.
