    I just finished watching your 1st guidelines video. I thank you for doing this. I have watched MANY different videos of other people. Yours is the only one that I have seen go in depth of the guidelines. I really appreciate your videos! I took my CPC test in Dec. 2023 and did horrible on guidelines. I missed it by 14pts. So here's to learning more so I can pass my next attempt! I will definitely be watching all you have created!!! :))

    I am currently an online student at a community college and this portion of my education we are studying these guidelines. I have been an A student in my previous 6 classes and I failed one of my assignments and was in tears and frustration, knowing that I had studied all information available to me through my course. I needed outside help. Your videos came up under a search, and I have to say thank you so much. You make this jumble of words, that are confusing to new coders, make sense when you see them applied to what I am trying to learn. Its the application to action that has helped me not want to give up, so thank you again. I am glad you are out there helping us who are trying to learn but have limited resources through online ed. You are appreciated for your work, thanks.

    Thank you for this, greatly. I'm currently watching the series, and the idea of just reading the guidelines makes my eyes cross and discover all kinds of other activities, like toenail clipping.
    Your delivery is engaging, your voice well-suited, examples are prescient and not belabored, and the breakdown into different videos is perfect. Thank you for this and all you do.

    • @aliciax7905
      @aliciax7905 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @sherrygordon3102 It's all about knowing where to look. If you are quick and know exactly where to find the codes, you will do well as this will help cut down on time that is spent randomly flipping pages. Good luck! 😊

    Thank you for the video.
    I am a coder in Australia and we use ICD-10-AM with Australian Coding Standards (ACS) as our guidelines.
    My family will be relocating to America in 1-2 years time so I am researching how to be a coder in USA. I am planning to take CCA or CCS. Your channel is very informative.
    I can see many differences on how we code here vs how coding is done there.

    Coach, would you consider doing a quick video on the new G2211 code? The guidelines are so confusing for primary care. It seems like Medicare basically said "yes, go ahead and use this." But then aren't clear on what qualifies. HELP! Or is there a resource you recommend? TY!

    GM Coach! I am new to your subcription, videos and loving them. I do have a question. I was watching your video yesterday Chapter 15. We did not finish it. It was left off with Section B: Selection of OB Principal or First-Listed Diagnosis on the next video. However, I am unable to find the video of where you left off. Please help! Thank you.

    Would you advise going to a trade school for the med coding and billing certification OR going to community college for the associates degree for med coding and billing??

    • @codemastercoach6636
      @codemastercoach6636  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My advice if you want to learn Medical Coding is to attend a Medical Coding trade school that teaches Medical Coding. The degree is great, but Medical Coding only requires a "Certificate". If you are looking for a good Medical Coding Program, email me at CodeMasterCoach@gmail.com and I will share my program with you.

      I wish I took Codemaster Coach's class. Unfortunately, it wasn't out when I went to my local community college. I don't feel the courses there fully prepared me. Yes, I passed my CPC and CRC. But I still don't feel confident in my coding.

    For the people in the comments saying they failed the guidelines section of the exam, or the guidelines section caused them to fail the exam, can you explain why? I haven’t taken the exam yet, so I’m not understanding how that is possible when the guidelines are in the book? Is it the parts of the guidelines that are written like gobbledegook, or what?
