I have watched two other videos (from other YTers) on covid coding -- and they BOTH have wrong codes in their videos! 😞 And one of the video's is even in a program that I PAID FOR -- and wrong information! Gah! Your thoroughness and effort is so much appreciated by me! :-) :-) :-) I hope you are getting some great ad revenue from your excellent videos you are putting out! 🙂

may I know if the pt has follow-up check-up with symptoms of covid 19 and a personal history of covid 19?
is it U07.1, SYMPTOMS, and Z86.16? is it correct? or i will not include the personal history? please need help

So what can I do when UHC is saying we can’t use U07.1 for confirmed COVID they see it as treatment they want us to use Z20.828 to get our claims paid

I saw this a lot when working in Accounts receivable. A lot of payers do this, but I don’t know why. It seems to be a requirement on certain payers end. I’ve seen certain modifier requirements as well that has to be billed in order for claim to process.
