These videos saved me from failing this class , there was a lot of things that i couldn’t understand and i do now . I wish our professors could teach like you
Dr. Stewart, thank you for a powerful lecture on the analysis and explanation of Moments. Statics is very important for students Mechanical and Civil Engineering . It is the prerequisite for many upper level courses in these two technical fields.
Amazing teacher! One thing you could think about for future videos is to minimize the split screen. I miss out a couple of things because the picture is too large.
9:28 sir as you say we can use any position vector. wanna ask that we can use it but don't its important to find its perpendicular components to that of applied force?
Hello sir. At 4:11 as you resolve moment arm in to its components to determine the moment arm component perpendicular to applied force to create moment about a fixed point. wanna ask that can we solve it alternately by resolving the force in to its component which will be perpendicular to given moment arm. will the answer( moment) will be same by both methods?

DUDE THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! It helped me understand it alot better!
You are welcome!

Amazing teacher!

Amazing explanation!!
thanks you sir,
Respect from Bangladesh
Thank you
can you try to solve some exemples about this part
thank you so much!
+Paulina Mansilla you're welcome!
thanks a lot ,,,, make sense better than my proof :)
