The fundamental problems are often easier than the examples that are covered by the book. You should attempt to solve them using the theory and with guidance from the book examples. Good Luck!

The solutions for the fundamental problems are by the first appendix of the book, on a part that says "Fundamental Problems Partial Solutions and Answers" (in the 13th edition of the book its on page 606). I hope this helps at least someone else who has the same question XD.
