    lived in leicester from 1963 to 1995, loved churchgate with crystals and braniggans and the REALLY cool pub in between as well as the fish and quart

    Leicester born and bred. This video has taught me a lot about the history of the city. I miss the Silver Arcade. I used to go there every Saturday as a kid to buy comic books.

      Leicester is a changed place i remember when everything was nice now the high street shops are closing and all the good businesses are gone

    Looked a great place when the video was made, Today its a muck hole, all but most of the locals are well gone, Just full of folk from over seas.

    I lived in Leicester 1973 to 1988 (excluding a gap for university). I had almost forgotten this place.

    Sorry meant you've not got the accent it's not a bad city was far better in the 1980s im nearly 48 early memory's are late 1970s with midland red buses
