The best part of Leicester has to be 'The Lanes', it really is a nice place to stroll around with plenty restaurants, cafe's and bars to choose from. I would also check out 'Ye Old Sweet' shop for some traditional sweets and take a steady stroll up the new walks towards Victoria park. Leicester really is a great city full of history 😁
Beautiful city, very friendly people, Richard III centre Is fantastic and ticket valid for year. Highcross is brilliant for shopping. The countryside is gorgeous. We visit every year. 🤍
@@Richardxx11xx oh I’m sorry, I didn’t know, I went there a long time ago on a school trip😅, I’ve never been there since, all I remember is that it was nice and I had a fun time there
I've lived in Leicester all my life and at the beginning of the 70s I worked as a delivery driver for a electrical shop in the city centre round the corner from a chinky, there was a strong rumour that the council inspectors had found the head of a German shepherd on the premises, personally I never touch indian or Chinese food

Abbey Park. In the 80s early 90s in the summer we use to jump off that bridge sooo much fun. Kids now are boring all on there phones❤

Wow. This video is fantastic? The City is an absolute toilet. Lived it for 48 years. There no toilet paper provided? Rubbish.
