It would be interesting to see a comparison of the average investment in cards a competitive player of each TCG needs to consistently top. I suspect that Yugioh is better for budget players since you can get more mileage out of a strong deck, but if a person wants to chase the meta I am curious how it compares.

@@TrueCyprien MTG had a massive issue in its early days from a bunch of hyper conversative Christians taking wizards to court, and a lot of places banning the play of MTG due to reference to religious symbology, specifically demons and devils, the Christian community considered it a ploy to convert their children to satanism, and it was so infamous pretty much every other TCG for a very long time self censored religious references to not have to deal with that shit, Konami japan didnt, but konami American made the decision too, to prevent it from happening to them, in the end places still somewhat banned yugioh and saw it as satanic but it was far less problematic than MTG (considering MTG faced financial reprocussions, but yugioh basically didnt at all). Other censorship stuff is basically for the same reason, guns and sex references get censored in the west so that konami is allowed to market the cards to kids, which is why until like igknights, every card art that had a gun got censored into being a nerf gun or some other hyper stylised version of a gun.

I would definitely say yes to this kind of video. It's cool to see even if it was just five games in a row or five games in the day with a deck. It shows not only how the deck works but it shows different interactions from your opponents. This video is cool and I am enjoying it.
It's worth mentioning that its a better idea to let each gift card/ tri-and-guess/paths of destiny resolve individually if your opponent doesn't chain some out to nurse/reaction, then activating the next ones in a new chain right after the previous chain resolves. For example: Say you have 3 gift card, 1 tri-and-guess, and nurse on board. if you chain all of them to each other and they imperm, you lose. but if instead, you activate them individually, you win. same logic for bad reaction. let bad reaction resolve, then use the gift cards individually. it means they need to open more than 1 out to nurse/reaction. also, letting them resolve individually means even if you whiff the first tri-and-guess, you can get the next one for sure. if you let them resolve individually like this, it works out that every additional nurse/reaction/gift card/tri-and-guess that you have end up being another way spell speed 2 way of turning nurse off they have to draw. obviously, if on draw you have 3 gift card 1 tri-and-guess, and on the first gift card they chain imperm, you gotta try and push thru and chain all together. but if they dont respond, better to let the burn resolve. a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush
Honestly your de rank may have been because you surrendered your loses. It seems clear from other aspects of the game that Konami doesn't want you to surrender, so it might weigh heavier than a normal loss.
They just dont want you to surrender immediately wheny oua re matched to get free/easy rewards. You are meant to surrender if youa re going to lose, its called being polite, not wasting each players time.
Yea, once I saw that I get no rewards for scooping I stopped. Unless the person's playing with their food or just really dumb but I bricked like crazy (seriously, someone took like 10 minutes and 3 turns to try and kill me once before I scooped. I had 1 bluff facedown and that's about it). I just let them do it. Honestly, scooping should be punished turn 1, but any time after turn 3 it probably means they actually tried to duel. Maybe have it check if at least 15 cards have been played or something IDK.
If someone has the same question as someone in chat in game 1: You can unlock the World Legacy Board in the second part of the World Legacy Solo Mode. But if you play it, you don't see Lance, only Shield on your right side.
I used to play Nurse Burn back in the WCS 2010 Reverse of Arcadia game. There was this Level 7 Synchro that gained strength the higher your Life Points were than your opponent. It was a ton of fun.
My guess for the derank is that it's an elo system where the number of points you gain/lose depend on the difference in skill level: the better the opponent, the more you gain for winning and the less you lose for losing
Which would be fine if they just showed the ELO. Makes no sense to apply that kind of system without making it visible. It also has the added benefit of allowing a better leaderboard to see who is the best in the current format and how you rank.
@@coyraig8332 That makes sense. I still think it would be better if they just gave everyone an ELO score and then set the different ranks at certain ELO cutoffs. This would make the ranking process more granular and give something for people at the highest end something to keep playing for after hitting the highest rank.
So Ive been deranked a few times from plat 1 now, I'm pretty sure it tracks your losses when you reach your top but not wins. For example I was on a 10 win streak but once I got two losses I was in plat 2 again
I just lost to this today and I'm gonna be honest... I'd rather lose to this than try and sit down in front of my opponent building their Drytron/Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade/Virtual World board with the knowledge of not being able to clear it anyway because Konami seem to have forgotten to update the ban list. At least it's a swift defeat. If Konami wants to make surrendering punishable, then at least make an effort to actually address the "meta" decks (or more fittingly, degenerate decks that were brought back to viability due to an outdated ban list), that way people would actually want to make a conscious effort to push through their opponent's boards, knowing that they actually have choke points.
I dont rly play the game anymore but its always super fun seeing your deck profiles and gameplay vids since it gives insight into how competitive players view the game and how they make different strats work, which is super interesting. Would love to see more of this style of video, 5 games in a row with some interesting deck idea to see how well you could make it work. Keep it up g
Back in the before fore times I played Stardust Accelerator for the DS and for the final boss of the game I used a Nurse less Simochi/Control deck because I didn't have the internet or any awareness of strategy outside what I could come up with and when I learned that Nurse was a thing my jaw dropped thinking I could've had a much easier time if I had that as well.
Lmao Nurse Reficule was in a pack that required you to beat 40 CPUs 5 times. I almost claimed that she wasn't in the game; good thing I looked it up before I made a comment. I love that game, but some packs had stupid unlock conditions
I just built this deck because it's the closest thing master duel has to Mystic Mine burn. I think Dzeef got insanely lucky in these duels. The deck bricks about 75% of games and Ash or imperm means you auto lose. You will have about a 25% with this deck. I can't tell you how many times I've draw double pot, orixchel with no targets. Or how many times by opponent top decked lightning storm or feather duster. At least I only wasted 5 URs on this terrible deck. I'm not sure if any other build can save it, possibly trading out barrel of ring of destruction, but that's still not enough in most games.
Yeah I agree, anyone saying they're had a perfect streak with this kind of deck just sounds like they're lying to me. It's not something you should ever really be running unless you're just looking for a few laughs since otherwise you're just rolling the dice for every single game, and the odds will never be in your favor.
Until konami bans it, or fixes the loaner system, it's incredibly reliable for events. It's cheaper than building a real deck, and you get rewards for losing in the xyz event, so I just played it because it's efficient.
I play this deck without darklord supports but reload and magical mallet, decklist from 5 years ago still works pretty well Consider scoop if can't draw win condition within 2 turns
Loving the MD vids dude. As someone who loved Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid but fell out due to having nobody to play with, this game has really knocked it out of the park for me. In duel links I couldn't even get a rogue deck online free to play, in Master Duelist I've built the best deck in the current META with every UR and SR I could want with plenty to spare. Seriously, this game is amazing, I really hope it gets a best of 3 format with side decks.
As somebody who plays nurse burn a ton, while you've won a ton more than me and probably know what you're doing more, pot of desires is a rather dangerous card because I've had cases where it's banished most of my ammo and I couldn't win. Personally I go for pot of extravagance. Plus, I also fill my extra deck with fusion monsters as xyz and synchro monsters are generally more common and there are some cases where using tri and guess to heal myself can actually be very useful

I played nurse burn for a while on YGO. It took a while but I eventually came across a mirror match and that was a lot of fun. Some people did not take too kindly, and recommended I escort myself out of this plane of existence. 10 out of 10 fun time.

What do you think about windwitch burn in this meta? I've been trying to run it but I'm not used to thoose ocg cards but its going well against some decks
One thing I’ve noticed while piloting a nurse burn deck is that if you go with changing fates, you can really just make it so a big monster is useless. In this deck, health is more of a resource that is useful to lose in return for major swings. I also run it with a koriboh material deck. Kuribon, astral kuriboh, kuriborn, and kuriboh with number 63 make for a really good amount of front line and with bad reaction, a kuribon can make the enemy’s attack a no you. I also run pot of duality and prosperity to give a slight amount of search, along with sangan to get out some early monsters.
I think this type of video is really cool. I’d love to see more of these. It would take too long to show 10 duels with normal decks? Hardleg Joe laughs at you with his 1.5-2 hour deck showcases lol.
So one thing is that you might want to change the Extra deck for the Tri-and-guess. Since Nurse only turns the heals your opponent receives into damage, it might be useful to load up with just 15 Fusions, 15 Synchros or 15 XYZs since it's really hard to imagine a modern deck having just 1 of those in its Extra deck as that way you would be able to call the type you have 15 of and heal up 3000 in case of emergency. Also I'm not clear on how the Pot of Greed stand-ins are banlisted in Master Duel, but wouldn't Extravagance be better in this deck since you don't run the risk of banishing your combo pieces unlike with Desires and this deck really doesn't care about summoning from the Extra deck anyway.
These are understandable comments but I'll try my best to explain why they might be a little misguided: -While healing for 3000 LP in an emergency might seem relevant, this deck has no comeback mechanism and it can't play through negates. For this reason, you either win or lose really fast. The 3000 LP gain is not worth potentially losing out on dealing 3000 damage when your opponent only plays 1 type of Extra Deck monster. Both cases are rare, but I think it's better to just play all Links because I don't think gaining 3000 LP is going to win you any games. -Extravagance prevents you from drawing cards the turn you use it. So you'd have to cut Upstart, Into the Void, Ixchel, and Desires if you wanted to play it. I don't think the tradeoff is worth it Hope this helped answer your questions!

This is definitely one of the interesting decks especially with upstart goblin at 3:00 how does every single deck not play that it might be a little tough in this deck since you're giving your opponent a thousand life points per copy
@@Chocl8215 that is not at all white people don't play three upstarts they don't play three upstarts because they have better cards it is definitely proven that being able to search one specific card is better than drawing two random cards
@@Chocl8215 its still worth drawing even if youve got a couple garnets. if your deck is such a high consistency of bricks that you wouldnt want to run upstart thats no longer you running garnets, youre just running a bad deck. the only real reasons i can see not to just run 3 upstarts is if it makes your strategy less consistent to kill (some decks legitimately just cant deal like 11k which is totally fair) or if your list is just so tight with good synergistic cards that its pointless
Time lords pair well with a nurse burn deck. You can have a tool to make opponents lp be cut in half or have opponents monsters attack points be converted into direct lp damage in addition to nurse burns. Sure, other cards can do the latter too but time lords ease of summoning and their immunity to being destroyed by card effects makes them at the very least, very useful stalling options if you get in a situation where you must survive a turn and hopefully draw just the card needed to clutch a victory
Man. I adore how much you commit. For me, I always have to have some sort of Engine inside of rogue decks. Like for this one, I use the "Wind Witch" engine instead of the extra deck counting card or void.
I modified this deck to help with the bricking issues it has. Simple mod, dropped one Pot of desires for Performapal Popperup. This card actually lets you use your brick draws as cost up to 3. Play only at One though. Seeing it to early is kind of dead. But I was running into am issue where Id draw too many cards I already activated that cant be activated again ending up with dead hands and Inconsistency. so this card help out with that. Another Idea I was toying with was Emergency Provisions + Poison of the old man + Ancient Leaf but It started to feel like too many cards. Cards that lead to bricked hans before were: The Pots. Card of Demise, Banishment of the Dark Lords. You can only activate these once so they can kill any run. Also Extra copies of Trap Trick can get in the way too. I do love this build but these were the issues I found. Also, This deck just loses to Sky Strikers, Tri and Guess becomes a dead draw in that situation.
So how does tri and guess work in something like the XYZ festival? Does tri and guese still work even if its only cos I simply have fewer or no cards in my extra deck since you could only play XYZ cards in the festival?
pretty sure surrendering counts as 5 losses. its equal to rage quiting, you also dont gain exp. from surrendering. the fact that they dont give exp. for surrendering means they dont value a player that does it and could punish their rank as well.
Yo guys, if I may ask is anchamoufrite bugged? sometimes i can't special summon him, he's supposed to be able to go out from face up of the extra deck at any time, right?
Some effect is probably restricting your special summons. I have the same problem with Cyber Dragons because Nachster locks you into machines, so I can't play it to make Verte.
I encountered someone who played this strategy and I brought out Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons in my first turn ( for those who don't know he's a 3k attack dragon with the effect to get every effect damage your opponent does to you added up to his attack power. My opponent just barely missed to kill me in his first turn and my Beelze ended up with over 10k attack and no answeres from my opponent to stop him. Was a fun duel.
The first time I encounter this type of deck, I was playing Numeron Kaiju. I went 2nd after all their set up and was barely left with 1k HP after they activated everything. Good thing I managed to set up of Kaiju and Numeron calling for the OTK.
I've tried this deck, but I can't seem to chain my trap cards and im forced to do them one at a time whenever my opponent does an action. Is there a specific order for each trap to be activated so I can chain them together? like 1 > 2 > 3 > 4(of traps), could it be maybe i'm accidentally doing 4 first, preventing myself to do a chain.
I hope to figure out a 40-45 card build that would be the ultimate anti meta, a consistent deck that relies less on special summons and graveyard effects and more on oppressive anti negates, field zone control, and massive indirect damage. A combo of ancient forest and two ground collapse feels like a great summoning bottleneck tool. Too few MD players actually read card effects and end up bricking themselves attacking into a time lord with the forest in play, uselessly killing their own monsters attacking a battle immune creature. Kinda funny really
i gotta ask why you choose to use into the void and toss your hand? granted my Burn deck uses bad effect of sumochi, but i also play it in a Stall matter as in my goal is to hurt you.. without actually attacking you for example i run 3 Magical cylinders because UNO reverse card that damage 3 Upstart goblins for a free 3k LP burn Dice Jar: a game of chance, you can do damage or if you roll a 6 you do 6k LP damage basically an instakill and fun thing is.. its a flip effect and its not limited so 3 Dice jars so fun 3 Lava golems, i tribute their annoying monsters and force them a golem in defence.. sure it has 3k damage but i also use scrap iron scare crow to kinda Refuse the attack if i need and every turn they take 1k damage for having it 3 Self destruct buttons (The one where if your opponent destroys the trap card they take 1k damage) 3 stealth birds where every turn you can flip them up, slap them for 1k damage and set them right back down and a bunch of Life giving cards for the easy burn damage, the decks in the Works but i made it myself and if i keep working on it maybe add Nurse as basically another Bad reaction, or perhaps a gagaga cowboy for some easy stall burn, i also have magical Thorns and gravekeepers servent, so when they discard a card they take damage, but also gravekeeps, they can only attack if they discard a card so.. Free damage
The shortest explanation is that I'm trying to win on my opponent's first draw phase while you're trying to play a slower control build. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but I'm trying to small with the smallest deck possible so that I can consistently get a winning setup on the first turn and Into the Void helps make the deck more consistent :) Hope this helped explain it a little better!

Hmm, nice burn deck, also, cant believe that in english they translated the who goes first text to "you go first/second", while in portuguese they made it "você vai indo antes/depois" (you go going before/after). Lmao All they had to do was make it "você vai primeiro/segundo" (you go first/second). Btw, for tri and guess, if you dont know your opponents deck, i would say always calling xyz would be the best bet, since not all decks can make fusions and synchros, because they require specific cards (spell/tuner).
I don’t give my opponent the satisfaction of summoning Exodia. If they can draw 10+ card, I surrender and they will never achieve the Exodia achievement from me.
@Liverpool italy I haven’t played against a First Turn Kill burn deck. And the burn deck I played against will give me 1-2 turn to make a comeback. I’ve seen 2-3 Exodia deck on TH-cam to know I already lost if they played Magical Library in their opening turn and I couldn’t negate its effect. Also if they summons Hyper Liberian.
I am super surprised that you barely got Ashed, if at all, in the 10 games you've played. I'm in Plat 3 and I'm often Ashed on the first turn as I play a draw-heavy deck as well.

I feel you on the specific rank not mattering much to me, but for the purpose of acquiring gems I can see it kind of blowing to get deranked lol. That does beg the question though, do you get the rank up gems again when/if you move back up?
How are you able to activate cards in draw phase or standby phase. The game wont let dweller or anti spell standby phase. Is it in the settings somwhere?

I think they’re probably just sat there for so long that they’ve gone AFK, It’s a shame but yeah. I’ve also been a part of duel rooms that are just open even though they’ve left the room. Saying they’re still in the room whilst it’s just me in there. And you can also interact with the surroundings too. So you could click either on his Volcano and the trees and they’ll do something. Same with the other duel fields. They each have something different that both duellists can interact with.
I reached plat with this deck. Having a blast so far. It's perfect for a phone account where you maybe wanna play some fast games while you are on a break etc.
I got hit with this deck the other day. Couldn't even be mad😂 He set his board, I set mine, and then he won in one turn. It was just impressive to me. I had seen this thumbnail before, but hadn't watched it. I just recognized the nurse when she hit the field

I love the gimmick decks but it would be nice to upload some replays as well (no cut/commentary is fine) so we can appreciate the duel entirely but in a fast pace.
can you not derank in any rank other than plat 1? that seems like it completely defeats the purpose of a ranking system if all it takes to climb to the highest rank is time and some lucky games
I ranked down from Gold IV to Silver I over the course of 5 losses (I'm dedicated F2P and still haven't completed a single deck yet...I keep making decks with the cards I have and fighting nothing but meta...and losing terribly). Ranking down is definitely a thing.

@@NeostormXLMAX it was just a joke. I was acknowledging how the game had changed throughout the years. The game has changed considerably. Most of the summoning that takes please is special summoning rather than true tribute summoning (where the monsters have to be on the field first before sacrificing etc..). Im not saying it is even necessarily a bad thing either. The main deck is use is a blue-eyes deck so I certainly benefit from special summoning effects and support. I was reminiscing on the nostalgia of VERY early Yugioh where the game was still figuring itself out. I still play the game as it is today. So it wasn’t a critique, but even if it was, that would be okay because it’s perfectly fine to disagree with the direction something is going especially if it comes from a place of appreciation. Yugioh is not a perfect game, no game is perfect, but that’s perfectly fine. Yugioh has had slip ups in its past and it will have slip ups in its future. It doesn’t accomplish anything to just complain, nor does it accomplish anything to suggest that someone should play something else. When it’s all said and done, I think we both just want the game to be the best it can be because we care about the game.
id definitely recommend adding 1 or 2 soul taker into this putting demise to 2. soul taker saves your ass at times and deals 1000 damage to your opponent with nurse or simochi on the field

It works with all three of those cards. Did you maybe do Chain Link 1 Bad Reaction and then add all of those cards as Chain Link 2, 3, and 4? Chains resolve backwards so Bad Reaction has to be the last chain link

It shows not only how the deck works but it shows different interactions from your opponents.

It's worth mentioning that its a better idea to let each gift card/ tri-and-guess/paths of destiny resolve individually if your opponent doesn't chain some out to nurse/reaction, then activating the next ones in a new chain right after the previous chain resolves.
For example: Say you have 3 gift card, 1 tri-and-guess, and nurse on board. if you chain all of them to each other and they imperm, you lose. but if instead, you activate them individually, you win. same logic for bad reaction. let bad reaction resolve, then use the gift cards individually. it means they need to open more than 1 out to nurse/reaction.
also, letting them resolve individually means even if you whiff the first tri-and-guess, you can get the next one for sure.
if you let them resolve individually like this, it works out that every additional nurse/reaction/gift card/tri-and-guess that you have end up being another way spell speed 2 way of turning nurse off they have to draw.
obviously, if on draw you have 3 gift card 1 tri-and-guess, and on the first gift card they chain imperm, you gotta try and push thru and chain all together. but if they dont respond, better to let the burn resolve. a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush
Honestly your de rank may have been because you surrendered your loses. It seems clear from other aspects of the game that Konami doesn't want you to surrender, so it might weigh heavier than a normal loss.

Yea, once I saw that I get no rewards for scooping I stopped. Unless the person's playing with their food or just really dumb but I bricked like crazy (seriously, someone took like 10 minutes and 3 turns to try and kill me once before I scooped. I had 1 bluff facedown and that's about it). I just let them do it.
Honestly, scooping should be punished turn 1, but any time after turn 3 it probably means they actually tried to duel. Maybe have it check if at least 15 cards have been played or something IDK.
If someone has the same question as someone in chat in game 1: You can unlock the World Legacy Board in the second part of the World Legacy Solo Mode. But if you play it, you don't see Lance, only Shield on your right side.
as someone who's been using this deck since the game came out, this video showed me how to play the deck even better.
I used to play Nurse Burn back in the WCS 2010 Reverse of Arcadia game. There was this Level 7 Synchro that gained strength the higher your Life Points were than your opponent. It was a ton of fun.

My guess for the derank is that it's an elo system where the number of points you gain/lose depend on the difference in skill level: the better the opponent, the more you gain for winning and the less you lose for losing
Which would be fine if they just showed the ELO. Makes no sense to apply that kind of system without making it visible. It also has the added benefit of allowing a better leaderboard to see who is the best in the current format and how you rank.

@@coyraig8332 That makes sense. I still think it would be better if they just gave everyone an ELO score and then set the different ranks at certain ELO cutoffs. This would make the ranking process more granular and give something for people at the highest end something to keep playing for after hitting the highest rank.

So Ive been deranked a few times from plat 1 now, I'm pretty sure it tracks your losses when you reach your top but not wins. For example I was on a 10 win streak but once I got two losses I was in plat 2 again

I'd rather lose to this than try and sit down in front of my opponent building their Drytron/Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade/Virtual World board with the knowledge of not being able to clear it anyway because Konami seem to have forgotten to update the ban list. At least it's a swift defeat. If Konami wants to make surrendering punishable, then at least make an effort to actually address the "meta" decks (or more fittingly, degenerate decks that were brought back to viability due to an outdated ban list), that way people would actually want to make a conscious effort to push through their opponent's boards, knowing that they actually have choke points.

Back in the before fore times I played Stardust Accelerator for the DS and for the final boss of the game I used a Nurse less Simochi/Control deck because I didn't have the internet or any awareness of strategy outside what I could come up with and when I learned that Nurse was a thing my jaw dropped thinking I could've had a much easier time if I had that as well.
Lmao Nurse Reficule was in a pack that required you to beat 40 CPUs 5 times. I almost claimed that she wasn't in the game; good thing I looked it up before I made a comment.

I just built this deck because it's the closest thing master duel has to Mystic Mine burn. I think Dzeef got insanely lucky in these duels. The deck bricks about 75% of games and Ash or imperm means you auto lose. You will have about a 25% with this deck. I can't tell you how many times I've draw double pot, orixchel with no targets. Or how many times by opponent top decked lightning storm or feather duster. At least I only wasted 5 URs on this terrible deck. I'm not sure if any other build can save it, possibly trading out barrel of ring of destruction, but that's still not enough in most games.
Yeah I agree, anyone saying they're had a perfect streak with this kind of deck just sounds like they're lying to me. It's not something you should ever really be running unless you're just looking for a few laughs since otherwise you're just rolling the dice for every single game, and the odds will never be in your favor.
Until konami bans it, or fixes the loaner system, it's incredibly reliable for events.
It's cheaper than building a real deck, and you get rewards for losing in the xyz event, so I just played it because it's efficient.
I love that Nurse Burn is good Deck against Red Reboot (if anyone is ever playing that card in Master Duel.)
I play this deck without darklord supports but reload and magical mallet, decklist from 5 years ago still works pretty well

Loving the MD vids dude. As someone who loved Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid but fell out due to having nobody to play with, this game has really knocked it out of the park for me. In duel links I couldn't even get a rogue deck online free to play, in Master Duelist I've built the best deck in the current META with every UR and SR I could want with plenty to spare.
Seriously, this game is amazing, I really hope it gets a best of 3 format with side decks.
Personally I use waking the dragon in my nurse burn witch makes duster and other back row distruction less effective

As somebody who plays nurse burn a ton, while you've won a ton more than me and probably know what you're doing more, pot of desires is a rather dangerous card because I've had cases where it's banished most of my ammo and I couldn't win. Personally I go for pot of extravagance. Plus, I also fill my extra deck with fusion monsters as xyz and synchro monsters are generally more common and there are some cases where using tri and guess to heal myself can actually be very useful

It took a while but I eventually came across a mirror match and that was a lot of fun.
Some people did not take too kindly, and recommended I escort myself out of this plane of existence.

What do you think about windwitch burn in this meta? I've been trying to run it but I'm not used to thoose ocg cards but its going well against some decks
One thing I’ve noticed while piloting a nurse burn deck is that if you go with changing fates, you can really just make it so a big monster is useless. In this deck, health is more of a resource that is useful to lose in return for major swings. I also run it with a koriboh material deck. Kuribon, astral kuriboh, kuriborn, and kuriboh with number 63 make for a really good amount of front line and with bad reaction, a kuribon can make the enemy’s attack a no you. I also run pot of duality and prosperity to give a slight amount of search, along with sangan to get out some early monsters.
I think this type of video is really cool. I’d love to see more of these. It would take too long to show 10 duels with normal decks? Hardleg Joe laughs at you with his 1.5-2 hour deck showcases lol.
Back row hare is the reason why I play Kozaky's Self-Destruct Button. Either way, fun stuff.
So one thing is that you might want to change the Extra deck for the Tri-and-guess. Since Nurse only turns the heals your opponent receives into damage, it might be useful to load up with just 15 Fusions, 15 Synchros or 15 XYZs since it's really hard to imagine a modern deck having just 1 of those in its Extra deck as that way you would be able to call the type you have 15 of and heal up 3000 in case of emergency.
Also I'm not clear on how the Pot of Greed stand-ins are banlisted in Master Duel, but wouldn't Extravagance be better in this deck since you don't run the risk of banishing your combo pieces unlike with Desires and this deck really doesn't care about summoning from the Extra deck anyway.

These are understandable comments but I'll try my best to explain why they might be a little misguided:
-While healing for 3000 LP in an emergency might seem relevant, this deck has no comeback mechanism and it can't play through negates. For this reason, you either win or lose really fast. The 3000 LP gain is not worth potentially losing out on dealing 3000 damage when your opponent only plays 1 type of Extra Deck monster. Both cases are rare, but I think it's better to just play all Links because I don't think gaining 3000 LP is going to win you any games.
-Extravagance prevents you from drawing cards the turn you use it. So you'd have to cut Upstart, Into the Void, Ixchel, and Desires if you wanted to play it. I don't think the tradeoff is worth it

This is definitely one of the interesting decks especially with upstart goblin at 3:00 how does every single deck not play that it might be a little tough in this deck since you're giving your opponent a thousand life points per copy
Well the whole point is that Nurses’ effect would turn that into 1000 burn damage.
The reason many decks don't play Upstart is that they have cards they don't want to draw, and so don't want a sub 40 card deck.
@@Chocl8215 that is not at all white people don't play three upstarts they don't play three upstarts because they have better cards it is definitely proven that being able to search one specific card is better than drawing two random cards
1000 lp is nothing to run a 37 card deck, it's just most people prefer to run more hand traps with these free slots
@@Chocl8215 its still worth drawing even if youve got a couple garnets. if your deck is such a high consistency of bricks that you wouldnt want to run upstart thats no longer you running garnets, youre just running a bad deck. the only real reasons i can see not to just run 3 upstarts is if it makes your strategy less consistent to kill (some decks legitimately just cant deal like 11k which is totally fair) or if your list is just so tight with good synergistic cards that its pointless
Time lords pair well with a nurse burn deck. You can have a tool to make opponents lp be cut in half or have opponents monsters attack points be converted into direct lp damage in addition to nurse burns. Sure, other cards can do the latter too but time lords ease of summoning and their immunity to being destroyed by card effects makes them at the very least, very useful stalling options if you get in a situation where you must survive a turn and hopefully draw just the card needed to clutch a victory

Man. I adore how much you commit. For me, I always have to have some sort of Engine inside of rogue decks. Like for this one, I use the "Wind Witch" engine instead of the extra deck counting card or void.
I modified this deck to help with the bricking issues it has. Simple mod, dropped one Pot of desires for Performapal Popperup. This card actually lets you use your brick draws as cost up to 3. Play only at One though. Seeing it to early is kind of dead. But I was running into am issue where Id draw too many cards I already activated that cant be activated again ending up with dead hands and Inconsistency. so this card help out with that. Another Idea I was toying with was Emergency Provisions + Poison of the old man + Ancient Leaf but It started to feel like too many cards. Cards that lead to bricked hans before were: The Pots. Card of Demise, Banishment of the Dark Lords. You can only activate these once so they can kill any run. Also Extra copies of Trap Trick can get in the way too. I do love this build but these were the issues I found. Also, This deck just loses to Sky Strikers, Tri and Guess becomes a dead draw in that situation.
Also Question, Does Tri and Guess work if you have only one Face up Pendulum Monster in your extra deck?
So how does tri and guess work in something like the XYZ festival? Does tri and guese still work even if its only cos I simply have fewer or no cards in my extra deck since you could only play XYZ cards in the festival?
pretty sure surrendering counts as 5 losses. its equal to rage quiting, you also dont gain exp. from surrendering. the fact that they dont give exp. for surrendering means they dont value a player that does it and could punish their rank as well.

what other cards do you have on the field? if you have say vanitys fiend on the field then you can not special summon anchamoufrite.
if you got anything that stops you from special summoning you can't summon it
Do you have March or did you use stormforth that turn? (I’m just assuming you play monarchs). It might also be an opponents card that’s blocking you.
Some effect is probably restricting your special summons. I have the same problem with Cyber Dragons because Nachster locks you into machines, so I can't play it to make Verte.

I encountered someone who played this strategy and I brought out Beelze of the Diabolic Dragons in my first turn ( for those who don't know he's a 3k attack dragon with the effect to get every effect damage your opponent does to you added up to his attack power. My opponent just barely missed to kill me in his first turn and my Beelze ended up with over 10k attack and no answeres from my opponent to stop him. Was a fun duel.

This brings some good memories from that DS game Yugioh WC2008.
The first time I encounter this type of deck, I was playing Numeron Kaiju. I went 2nd after all their set up and was barely left with 1k HP after they activated everything. Good thing I managed to set up of Kaiju and Numeron calling for the OTK.
This deck is amazing bro. I literally ran through the XYZ event with this. I won way more than I lost. It's so consistent getting the OTK.
I've tried this deck, but I can't seem to chain my trap cards and im forced to do them one at a time whenever my opponent does an action. Is there a specific order for each trap to be activated so I can chain them together? like 1 > 2 > 3 > 4(of traps), could it be maybe i'm accidentally doing 4 first, preventing myself to do a chain.
I hope to figure out a 40-45 card build that would be the ultimate anti meta, a consistent deck that relies less on special summons and graveyard effects and more on oppressive anti negates, field zone control, and massive indirect damage. A combo of ancient forest and two ground collapse feels like a great summoning bottleneck tool. Too few MD players actually read card effects and end up bricking themselves attacking into a time lord with the forest in play, uselessly killing their own monsters attacking a battle immune creature. Kinda funny really

i run 3 Magical cylinders because UNO reverse card that damage
3 Upstart goblins for a free 3k LP burn
Dice Jar: a game of chance, you can do damage or if you roll a 6 you do 6k LP damage basically an instakill and fun thing is.. its a flip effect and its not limited so 3 Dice jars so fun
3 Lava golems, i tribute their annoying monsters and force them a golem in defence.. sure it has 3k damage but i also use scrap iron scare crow to kinda Refuse the attack if i need and every turn they take 1k damage for having it
3 Self destruct buttons (The one where if your opponent destroys the trap card they take 1k damage)
3 stealth birds where every turn you can flip them up, slap them for 1k damage and set them right back down
and a bunch of Life giving cards for the easy burn damage,
the decks in the Works but i made it myself and if i keep working on it maybe add Nurse as basically another Bad reaction, or perhaps a gagaga cowboy for some easy stall burn, i also have magical Thorns and gravekeepers servent, so when they discard a card they take damage, but also gravekeeps, they can only attack if they discard a card so.. Free damage
The shortest explanation is that I'm trying to win on my opponent's first draw phase while you're trying to play a slower control build. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but I'm trying to small with the smallest deck possible so that I can consistently get a winning setup on the first turn and Into the Void helps make the deck more consistent :) Hope this helped explain it a little better!

All they had to do was make it "você vai primeiro/segundo" (you go first/second).
Btw, for tri and guess, if you dont know your opponents deck, i would say always calling xyz would be the best bet, since not all decks can make fusions and synchros, because they require specific cards (spell/tuner).

@Liverpool italy I haven’t played against a First Turn Kill burn deck. And the burn deck I played against will give me 1-2 turn to make a comeback. I’ve seen 2-3 Exodia deck on TH-cam to know I already lost if they played Magical Library in their opening turn and I couldn’t negate its effect. Also if they summons Hyper Liberian.

I am super surprised that you barely got Ashed, if at all, in the 10 games you've played. I'm in Plat 3 and I'm often Ashed on the first turn as I play a draw-heavy deck as well.

How are you able to activate cards in draw phase or standby phase. The game wont let dweller or anti spell standby phase. Is it in the settings somwhere?
It's the toggle button in the bottom right hand corner. You have to set it to "on"

I think they’re probably just sat there for so long that they’ve gone AFK, It’s a shame but yeah. I’ve also been a part of duel rooms that are just open even though they’ve left the room. Saying they’re still in the room whilst it’s just me in there. And you can also interact with the surroundings too. So you could click either on his Volcano and the trees and they’ll do something. Same with the other duel fields. They each have something different that both duellists can interact with.
Funny enough I played against someone using a Nurse Burn deck however it worked in my favor because I was playing Kozmo's.
Because of Master Duel, people might be led to believe that Nurse activates since it shows the little animation

@@NeostormXLMAX it was just a joke. I was acknowledging how the game had changed throughout the years. The game has changed considerably. Most of the summoning that takes please is special summoning rather than true tribute summoning (where the monsters have to be on the field first before sacrificing etc..). Im not saying it is even necessarily a bad thing either. The main deck is use is a blue-eyes deck so I certainly benefit from special summoning effects and support. I was reminiscing on the nostalgia of VERY early Yugioh where the game was still figuring itself out. I still play the game as it is today. So it wasn’t a critique, but even if it was, that would be okay because it’s perfectly fine to disagree with the direction something is going especially if it comes from a place of appreciation. Yugioh is not a perfect game, no game is perfect, but that’s perfectly fine. Yugioh has had slip ups in its past and it will have slip ups in its future. It doesn’t accomplish anything to just complain, nor does it accomplish anything to suggest that someone should play something else. When it’s all said and done, I think we both just want the game to be the best it can be because we care about the game.
I always prefer longer vids over short ones.
id definitely recommend adding 1 or 2 soul taker into this putting demise to 2. soul taker saves your ass at times and deals 1000 damage to your opponent with nurse or simochi on the field

@@anzrhrn1614 no it wouldn't lol what are you talking about? All that matters is your opponent have 1 if the declared card type, the amount of extra deck monsters you have is irrelevant

I don’t really get the effect of Simochi. It doesn’t work with gift card, paths or TaG. Can someone explain me what I might do wrong?
It works with all three of those cards. Did you maybe do Chain Link 1 Bad Reaction and then add all of those cards as Chain Link 2, 3, and 4? Chains resolve backwards so Bad Reaction has to be the last chain link
How about replace tri-and-guess and the link monsters and put in smile universe and pendulum monsters
If this card require specific card to win isnt magical mallet or reload maybe more beneficial than pot of desire.
There’s a trophy for effect damage so this is super helpful
