I hope they do a 30 for 30 about the 2010-2014 Miami Heat. They really were transcendent. I've never seen a more polarizing team in NBA history. LeBron leaving CLE on national TV. Wade and Bosh the Olympic teammates. The all black jerseys. South Beach. The Mob Boss Pat Riley and his henchman Alonzo Mourning by his side. Every year they went to the Finals. Everyone thought they would kill Dallas and they lost. The breakthrough against OKC, Then the all time great series vs the Spurs in 2013, Ray Allen joining them from their biggest rival Boston Celtics to hit that shot. Then the health of Wade and Bosh breaks down, The Heat become very old and LeBron sees that this supporting cast wasn't good enough to get it done, saw the perfect opportunity to go home and then the shitstorm that was caused by free agency.
Agreed, as my team hadn't been doing well for years (fave teams are sacramento and Philly lol) I found myself cheering for the heat. May sound like a bandwagon but I grew up watching James and to me he was the Michael Jordan for many older fans growing up watching Jordan. This was the time I really started loving basketball. So much drama which is good for the game, i think it'd make a great 30 for 30
As a die hard heat fan, all I can say is that we just need to keep moving forward from the big 3 era. Those were great times winning championships and being the best team in the league but we can't keep dwelling on this. Lebron, Wade, and Bosh are all gone and maybe someday LeBron and wade may decide to come back but right now Pat Riley needs to be focusing more on our teams offseason and trying to get us some great free agents and a nice player in the draft #Heatnation
in hindsight you can't really be mad at lebron for leaving miami... he went back to cleveland to get a championship for his hometown. Wade was a different story though, the man should've been a heat for his entire career.
I completely agree but wade also wanted to go and play for the team he grew up watching as a kid and i don't blame him for leaving at all and I don't blame riley for choosing wade over the team. Yes wade was supposed to be a heatlifer but he made his decision and we should all be okay with it because wade will come back to Miami eventually. There is no question that he will retire with the Miami heat #Heatnation #Heatlifer
Robert Baratheon there's a difference with Wade and Kobe. Kobe is a worldwide megastar. As well, Miami had decent enough players for playoff runs, while the Lakers were just shit.
And 6 years later we are already up 3-0 against the best record in the nba and have a real shot at winning it all what an amazing rebuild by pat and miami
They left a lot of information out of this video. Pat Riley attacked Dwyane Wade accused him of knowing LeBron was leaving and not telling him. It’s so contentious left and went to Chicago.
They need to make a movie on big 3 era. I miss these days, best time of my life as a basketball fan. I got to experience this at such a young age and when I have kids one day I will talk to them about this team. I wish it would have lasted longer and maybe form a dynasty but ill never forget the Miami big 3 era. Glad to have d wade back on this young heat squad. Now it’s time to make a deep playoff run let’s go heatnation!!!!!!!
This Miami team could have been a dynasty. Bosh and Wade got older but they were still a pretty good team. plus you can keep adding talent to help sustain success. that's what Pat wanted to do.
LeBum must be talking about his Finals losses when he made his prediction at the beginning of all this and how many titles they would win. 4-6 as of April 1, 2021 LeBitch.
What Pat Riley should have done was..., just stayed more loyal to Wade for the very first championship, and, the orchestrating of getting James and Bosh to come to Miami and helping to really elevate that franchise as a whole. But, he went the ego route. On a side note, I thought the gaudiness of the Heat's first huge, diamond crusted Championship rings were more subliminally offensive than that of appreciation; any Chris Rock joke comes to mind.
Yall did this shit like it was life, like wtf and Lebron didn't leave cuz he wanted to go "home" he left cuz he say that the heats were past their prime
Los angeles Losers That team was also one game away from the conference finals, if hassan whitesdie hade not been injured they would have made it to the conference finals. With the emergence of dion this year and the bench but if we had dwayne wade, his rapid decline , that team would finish 5th or 6th and make it to the second round.

In hindsight, Bron fucked up. He would have had a comparable number of rings as Jordan if he stayed with Miami given Riley's record of building teams. Instead he wasted half of his prime in Cleveland carrying JR Smith to the Finals and ending up with a losing Finals record against Steph Curry (3/4) and KD (2/3). Even if he adds another in LA, its hard to see how he can ever catch Jordan now.
Lebron did Miami dirty and on purpose. He waited as long as possible knowing for awhile he was going back to Cleveland. He wanted Miami to fall apart and not be a issue for him to deal with in the East. Riley knows Lebron did this. As a die hard Heat fan the big 3 era was fun but Lebron is not loved in Miami at all. His epic collapse against mavs in 2011 and the way he left really are equally memorable as the 2 rings.
And this is in my recommended right after LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have a 2-0 lead over LeBron’s former team, the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals...
The Big 3 was doomed from the first day of training camp when Riley didn't take over coaching duties like he did in 2006. That's what Lebron wanted and was expecting. He and Bosh didn't go to Miami to be coached by Eric Spoelstra. The proof is in the way he was outcoached by Pop and Carlisle in 2 of the 4 straight Final appearances. And Lebron was out.
Are we heading to a lakers vs heat finals?... im a big mj goat will always take mjs side. LBJ going back to Cleveland and getting them 1 title was huge and I had some respect for that.
ESPN actin like the Heat died. Come on. They got Dragic and Whiteside's emergence the next summer and finished as the 3rd seed and got to one game away from the conference finals the following season
I find it funny that Pat was frustrated that LeBron left after only four years. Imagine Cleveland's frustration Pat when he left us the way he did when he is FROM the Cleveland area. However, I'm glad he made the realization of why LeBron came home. As a Cavs fan, all is forgiven now of course.
Then you watch the whole video. When someone loses a piece as big as Lebron, very suddenly, like Pat did, of course he's gonna be frustrated. He's not gonna think "Oh shit, this happened to Cleveland, and they had it worse, so I won't be mad". Naw, he's gonna think what do I do now? What do I do next for the team. As it says in the video, he understood later on why he had to leave.
Which is understandable. I pointed out that I was glad he made the realization of why Lebron left Miami. It's understandable about how he feels he's at a crossroad of confusion.
He should just feel privileged to have even had him for those 4 years and 2 titles. But obviously when your looking to the future and trying to win you don't think about things like that in the moment.
He wasn't from Cleveland he was from Akron. Two different cities. But I understand where you're coming from. He had to leave both places tbh. Cavs because he kept them too good to not good great picks in the safest m draft, but management did a horrible job in acquiring a supplemental piece for him while he was there the first seven years, and and leaving Miami he had to go back to Cleveland to fulfill the championship he wanted to get there and he did that.
The Miami years took a physical toll on Lebron. He carried those teams as Wade battled injuries, Bosh regressed as a player from his Toronto days, and the rest of the Heat teams were just journeymen or vets in the last stages of their careers. I think he just looked around and realized that if the big 3 took max deals, there would be no money left to acquire good young talent. So, he looked at Cleveland with Kyrie, Thompson, Wiggins etc. and decided to go and to realize his childhood dream of bringing a championship to Cleveland.
Man I would have love to see LeBRON still in Miami after 2014 Finals if he stayed then going against the rise of Golden State in 2015 Finals with Wade & Bosh but it was the end after winning 2 🏆 together. Wade had injuries & Bosh not able to play in NBA anymore 😞
Miami Heat humiliated the greatest player they ever had, Wade. Then they gave all that money to Bosh who never delivered even half of Wade. Wade has thankfully moved on to now be a part owner of Jazz. This shows that Heat will never value players only Championships. While Lakers have repeatedly shown how they treat great players like Kobe and MAgic
The big 3 got dominates by my spurs big 3, 31 year old parker, 36 year old Genobli, 37 year old Duncan! And still young 22 lenoerd! Lol, 4-1 series! Destroyed! Hahaha, that spur finals team would of destroyed any team in the 2000s except for the 2001 Lakers
Thanks a lot pat Riley! U broke D'wade's heart for not signing him max contract. U gotta treat him like a special player. He's a all star player & he wants more money 💰
I was LeBron and his promise to Cleveland. If LeBron didnt make that promise I have no doubt he would of stayed a Heat this entire time because Pat Riley would continuously add pieces even with Wade not as good and Bosh having to retire early the Heat would of stayed contenders.
The most superficial team ever created, a stain, nothing more. Last time I was so disgusted because of the NBA, that happened in 02, the Lakers vs Kings drama and etc... Things like this have no place in any sport.
Honestly James would have stayed if it wasn't for Bosh's lung blood clots (he was out of the team for treatment). But things are unexpected at least Mr. Bosh is healthy today and Cavs won in 2016.
Riley is a snake kicking Bosh when he is down with the clots. Bosh was a max player in 2014 regardless where he signed. Before he had his clots he was one of the most durable all stars in the nba playing almost 70 games or more plus playoffs every season of his career. Heat had to max him out because he had a pair of 4 year max offers from the Rockets and Lakers on day 1 of free agency. I'm pretty sure Wade at the time was only being offered one or two year deals just like his 2016 free agency not even at the full max annual salary. And with the cap having skyrocketed if Bosh was healthy his 5 year 118M max contract would be a bargain compared to the 4 years 113M Al Horford signed with the Celtics for or lol the 3 years 100M Kyle Lowry resigned with the raptors for.
i only liked lebron in miami. And sure I can understand lebron wanting to go home for unfinished business, but i didnt like the circumstances surrounding it: Heat got crushed by Spurs in the finals; wade another year older, likely not an all star; cavs getting first pick again, so it seemed like lebron jumped ship again to another form another big three. If cavs didn't have a big three I'd appreciate lebron going back to cleveland.
Ripley is so disrespectful , narcisist and cheap. Lebron went back to his home where he was born and grew up, I don't undertand why would you force somebody to want to be somewhere they don't. He almost didn't pay chris bosh, but he did. All that dosnt really matter than how he treated Dwayne wade he is the one mostly responsible for 3 championships the heat have and he took a pay cut. He promise he was going to pay him down the line and then he didn't.
he had to go home out of the kindness of his heart...........................(to the team that just won the lottery three times, was aboout to have to 2 other all stars, and was clearly his best and only option in the entire nba)
Well, now Bosh is retired, lebron probably leaving for LA, And Wade going to the bulls, then cavs, and now, back home, I think the heat are doing ok, plus they have whiteside, Wade, and dragic, wait a year or two, they will be a favorite to win the nba finals
THE REAL REASON "The BIG 3" BROKE UP was because the San Antonio Spurs beat the breaks off them fools in the 2014 FINALS. Now 2013 was a series................... The Spurs GAVE AWAY ! 2014 PROVED IT ! :) Spurs lose in the 2013 NBA FINALS... Comes back even stronger ! Heat get DEMOLISHED in the 2014 NBA FINALS... QUITS ! All the "Loyal" Heat "fans" are now Cavs & Warriors "Fans".
Fuck What You're Talking About ! The reason miami got beat in 2014 was the emergence of kawhi leonard, the spurs got immensely better because kawhi started reaching his prime, while duncan, parker and ginoblie were still in solid shape. Imagine this years kahwi leonard on the 13 or 14 spurs against any team other than those chicago teams in the 90s that would be rape on national tv.
This is why I don't like LeBron. He's an all-time great. But the way he handled leaving Cleveland the first time and then Miami were a joke. No communication. Just be up front.
Why is he narrating this like this is a murder case? lol
King James Shit sound like one of those documentaries that has a lot of history behind them.

I AM HEAT FAN SAD DAY WIN BIG 3 BREAK UP 2014 HAPPY MY HEAT WIN BACK2BACK CHAMPIONSHIP HEATFAN4LIFE GO HEAT
If you watched this team in 2014 you knew that they had no future. Lebron was the only constant.
I’m just waiting on “The Rise and Fall of Lob City” 30 for 30
Wade back, now Bron coming back this summer!!
Lebron used the miami heats
Well, now Bosh is retired, lebron probably leaving for LA, And Wade going to the bulls, then cavs, and now, back home, I think the heat are doing ok, plus they have whiteside, Wade, and dragic, wait a year or two, they will be a favorite to win the nba finals
This team should've won more than one chip...
Junior Iongi They won the year before.
The run was over time for lebron to move on
THE REAL REASON "The BIG 3" BROKE UP was because the San Antonio Spurs beat the breaks off them fools in the 2014 FINALS.
Now 2013 was a series................... The Spurs GAVE AWAY ! 2014 PROVED IT ! :)
Spurs lose in the 2013 NBA FINALS... Comes back even stronger !
Heat get DEMOLISHED in the 2014 NBA FINALS... QUITS !
All the "Loyal" Heat "fans" are now Cavs & Warriors "Fans".
Keeping it #100, i see. Bae! :) Go Girl!
Fuck What You're Talking About ! lie again
crazy as hell, heat nation till i die
#heatnation4life
Fuck What You're Talking About ! The reason miami got beat in 2014 was the emergence of kawhi leonard, the spurs got immensely better because kawhi started reaching his prime, while duncan, parker and ginoblie were still in solid shape. Imagine this years kahwi leonard on the 13 or 14 spurs against any team other than those chicago teams in the 90s that would be rape on national tv.
serious shit😂
Wade was done after 2014
Lol imagine Lebron leaves again, and ESPN will make another video try to justify his action
This is why I don't like LeBron. He's an all-time great. But the way he handled leaving Cleveland the first time and then Miami were a joke. No communication. Just be up front.
This is not true anymore
