This was the best field possible considering that Authentic, Improbable, Tiz The Law and Maximum Security all moved to the breeding, and Charlatan skipped the race to go to the Saudi Cup.
Congrats to Knicks Go connections. Also a remarkable race for Jesus Team and Independence Hall.

He was the speed of the speed ...
Not only he’s the speed of the race. It’s that he has a high cruising speed. The horse establish this very quick fractions and can carry his speed.
It was a good field and he made them look like claimers

@@bobbymadera3234 Mile and a quarter dirt races are uncommon in North America for any age group of horses in January. Most of the horses have come off a two month or more layoff and aren’t ready to go a mile and a quarter again yet. Classic distance races don’t start for older horses until about March, and May for three year olds, and two year olds never run a mile or a mile and one sixteenth until like October/November in their first year of racing.

So I’m a horse lover but I know nothing about horse races so if someone could give me a long explanation about it that would be great... thanks...
Basically it's as simple as whoever gets round the track first! People are divided on opinions on whether it's a good thing or not. Some people love the thrill of it, whereas others think it is cruelty to race an animal that far potentially hurting it as there have been a lot of injuries for both horse and rider in the racing industry. The horses live to do it though! Some of them love it. It's been a thing for years.

Where was Authentic, Improbable, Tiz The Law, Midnight Bisou, Swiss Skydiver, Shesadaredevil, Maximum Security and True Timber? A lot of good horses were not entered in such a big race.
Um MB retired in like August after developing a bone splint, she was sold in the Keeneland November sale. Max, Improbable & Authentic all retired after the BCC, Swiss is training up to the Saudi Cup, Shedaresthedevil won’t be taking on males any time soon, True Timber was a last minute withdrawal after he came up lame after a workout and Tiz was also retired after sustaining an injury during a workout. Clearly you don’t follow racing all that closely

No reason for coastal defense to be so many lengths back so early in this race. Not sure what jockey/trainer were thinking.

Jesus’ Team is a nice horse to use in trifecta and exacta bets, cause he always seems to get up to place in any race he is in. Did it to me twice in the Preakness and BC Dirt Mile, so this time I used him

Um. This horse was a Grade 1 winner before he was moved to Brad’s barn, the horse is talented, he’s allowed to have natural talent. And I think he proved this year that he is beatable. Brad just figured out what works best with this horse, put him on the front end and leave him alone. His speed is his weapon, so they decided to let him use it

Independence Hall is a very good horse who lost his way. A far better horse than Knicks Go was before Cox started injecting him.
Incorrect statement. Independence Hall has a Classics pedigree by Constitution, and was on the path to stardom before some physical issues arose. His trainer was hoping for maybe a Place or Show in his allowance come-back race, not having him cranked, and he reeled off a surprising, easy win. He bounced in that elongated sprint vs the brilliant Charlatan, and looked like a classic Thorograph play in the Pegasus.
@@SumoCumLoudly Agree 100% on Independence Hall. Not sure if I trust Cox either, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He certainly gets the best speed out of horses. I think Gulfstream dirt plays similar to Keeneland, which is Knicks Go’s wheelhouse track.

Knicks Go was an exposed G3 horse, then he went to the Brad Cox juice program and now hes a monster. Went hard all the way and was just getting going at the end, took Rosario about 5 minutes to pull him up. Wont be surprised if hes another heart attack like X Y Jet.
This is far bigger than Servis, Navarro and Cox, ban them and the juice will move. The problem is deep rooted, probably involving people at the very top of the game on the official side, the tv gravy train wont highlight it, nobody wants to rock the boat and risk losing their cushy jobs.

These ,announcers need to stop saying things that ;Do Not apply correctly to Racing ."NOT A PERFECT TRIP"? .Maybe ,He needs to ride more Horses and shutup. With those fractions it was near perfect...
I don't think he means it in a bad way. Knicks Go had company early on and in spite of that wired the field. A perfect trip no one would be near him,yet he worked hard and was still the best.

Uh it’s not. These horses were checked by countless vets before leading up to the race, including the morning of. If the horse was lame, it would not have been entered. Trust me. TBs run weirdly with their back legs
