Life Is Good is a superstar - and he would be undefeated if not for the poor ride by Mike Smith in last year's Allen Jerkens at Saratoga. So glad he's with Pletcher. Looking forward to the rest of the year.
If irad was on life is good in the allen jerkens he definitely would of won no doubt about it, irad ortiz jr the best in the world.

Agree. Irad is the best. Losing to top notch sprinter Jackie's Warrior was no disgrace BUT with a better timed ride LIG should have won that day.
@@pokerface8242 just happy to see irad able to ride colonel Liam and life is good to victory with irad hurting his knee it's been a rough couple of months for him with the knee and 30 day suspension so happy for him and hoping nothing but the best going forward.
He was never gonna beat Flightline though.

The race was over going into the first turn because Irad used his brother Jose to block Knicks Go coming out of the gate.
As far as I'm concerned, it's a tainted win for Life Is Good... and another black eye for the sport.
They're both tremendous. Very impressed with stiletto boy in that race. It was always a race for third.

Sure... Love the two honorable scumbag jockeys of the sport who are known to help each other win and have been in loads of trouble because of it. I'm pretty sure they were even suspended at one point.
I'll stick with rooting for Florent Geroux, Luis Saez, and Joel Rosario.
There's also a young up and coming jockey who's been riding at the NYRA tracks and I can't remember his last name but his first name is Eric and he's admirable. I truly believe he will be somebody someday. He just needs the right horse and the right trainer to give him the opportunity.
LIG hasn't seen a horse's tail yet. He was always ahead.

Ve estás carreras clásico Antonio R Barceló 1980 y Clásico Derby Puertorriqueño 1980. Había dos campeones velocistas en esa carrera. Estelar y Orlando G. Y así debió ser está carrera entre Nick Go y Life is Good. Busca esas carreras y verás una carrera de lucha a muerte entre dos campeones velocistas.

LIG had it in the bag once KG had to be shuffled back and LIG got away with the first quarter in just over :23. Easy fractions for him the entire way. You just can’t let him get loose on the lead. LIG also peaking at the right time. Now we need to see LIG vs Flightline.

Who is Knicks Go? Oh gee, let me help you out. A five time grade 1 winner, two time Breeders Cup winner including one of the fastest Classic times ever, a horse who could throw down 1:47s for nine furlongs in his sleep. Congrats to LIG, but something was up with Knicks. I mean he didn't even sniff a 23 second first quarter. Clearly was dropping diarrhea after the race.
A question a bit off subject, why do races in Europe have large packs of horses running together, with finishes by a nose/neck/half a length the norm, but in the U.S. the horses are more spread out and the finishes are more clear cut??

JR blew that race in the First turn. Anyone of those two horses that made the lead by themself would win. No brainer. The battle never developed. Congrats nonetheless.
Jose ortiz on 3 horse came out of gate on purpose of cutting in fort of the 2 horses inside of him to guarantee the lead for his brother on 4 horse watch closely how aggressive he comes out the gate and intimidating the inside horses.

A nice horse but overrated. Won't live with Flightline. Knicks Go ran well below par and Life Is Good was virtually gifted the race. Front runners can do that in the US.

The early fractions were just not sustainable. A 1:48.80 time for a Mile and an Eighth was a perfect way to beat Knicks Go. None of these payouts were worth much on this day. The Pick 6 only paid $78.00 for $.20 cents. The Pick 4's/Pick 5's were a joke as well.

Ya great horse but this horse was developed by baffert and was taken away because of all these woke people who cant train like he can and every trainer gives some sort of drug to all horses they cant talk and the vets use there expertise to tell the traines what they need things happen every day there are all kinds of jealous trainers who want the tops guys to fail and there are plenty of ways to get someone to do something illegal and pay them for it i for one know the reality of horse racing and im sure things happen everyday to horses that they cant tell u about so someone has to help u and i can go to the dr and tell them whats wrong and they try to help how many drs screw up and there diagnostics is wrong lots so blaming a successful trainer without catching them doing something not just the horse has something in there blood its the vets who give them there meds and if its in the blood samples how is the trainer to blame hes doesnt have a degree in vet medicine u people who are quick to blame are just the jealous few who cant stand u cant compete its poor u he gets all the best horses and i dont boo hoo i for one have been going to the races since i was 5 and my father owned horses thru out his life some win most lose and some breakdown sad but true but these animals love what they do and the good ones know there good baffert should be left alone and we should watch in amazement how many great horses baffert can get to win our great races
