နံနက် is the formal word that we use in written burmese. မနက် is an informal word but it can be used in both spoken and written Burmese.
Eg.
8:00 am
နံနက် ၈ နာရီ
မနက် ၈ နာရီ
ကြ is a verb suffix for plurality.
Eg.
They are playing football.
သူတို့ ဘောလုံးကစားနေကြတယ်။
The children like ice cream.
ကလေးတွေက ရေခဲမုန့်ကြိုက်ကြတယ်။
ကြ can be omitted if you want.
ကျွန်ုပ် means “I” in English and it is a formal word. We don’t use it in spoken Burmese.
ကျွန်ုပ်က is “I” with subject particle (က)
I am a teacher.
ကျွန်ုပ်က ဆရာမပါ။
Subject particle (က) can be omitted if you don’t want to emphasize subject.
We can use both ဆောင် and လုံး as counting units for “house”.
အိမ်တစ်ဆောင် or အိမ်တစ်လုံး
ဆောင် is the formal word and we rarely use it nowadays.
လုံး can be used in both written and spoken Burmese.
Eg.
I will buy a house next year.
နောက်နှစ်မှာ အိမ်တစ်လုံးဝယ်မယ်။
(Counting unit for apartment and condominium is ခန်း)
