Thank you very much for watching our videos.
ကျွန်ုပ် ( I ) is a formal usage and it is used in written Burmese.
E.g. He and I are friends.
ကျွန်တော် ( I ) which is pronounced “ကျွန်နော်(ကျနော်)” is a polite usage and it is used in both written and spoken Burmese. It is the most common one and you will hear it very often in daily conversation.
      E.g.
      I am John.
ငါ (me) is an informal usage and we use it with our friends and the people who are older than us.
      E.g.
I watched a movie with Mary.
သင် (you) is a formal usage and it is used in written Burmese.
      E.g.
      You are kind.
မင်း (you) is an informal usage and it is mostly used by male.
      E.g.
      Who are you?
ခင်ဗျား (you) is an informal usage and it is mostly used by male.
      E.g.
      I don’t know you.
နင် (you) is an informal usage that we use with our friends and the people who are younger than us.
      E.g.
      Where do you come from?
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
