One of my friends posted this track on the Facebook a few years ago. Once I listen to this track it keeps running in my mind for a few days. I'm going to listen to other songs by this artist, great music.
I was looking for examples for my son so that he could hear there's more flute music than just what he hears in elementary school band. This was really nice!

Fantastic track, from the flute tone to the great arrangement. I hope you don't mind but have been playing along to this to try to learn this genre. It's so different to my classical flute training but I'm beginning to enjoy and appreciate the freedom of improvisation. Thank you for your inspiration!

Point of interest, the bass accidentally didn't get recorded direct into the mulititrack, so I took audio from the camera mic closest to his bass amp and processed the hell out of it to try to salvage a usable track to mix with the rest of the instruments. Turned out pretty good! And yes, Tommy is a tight player.
Hello, My flute is a 14 K gold Brannen Brothers / Cooper / Kingma with a 22 K gold Lafin head joint... current set up. However, in this video I am playing with the original head, a 14 K gold Brannen with silver lip plate and riser. Still sounds ok I guess! Thanks for your interest. Dave
