Oh thank GOD you have the sheet music in the video, YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER. I have to record an assessment that's due tomorrow and I don't have the music.
Maybe a little bit of vibrato at some parts would have added a nice touch, but that's just my opinion. I understand that the clarinet is typically supposed to be smooth so vibrato is generally looked down upon, but as a clarinetist, I personally found that vibrato can sound very nice if the piece is fit :)
Played very magnificently, and I hope to be able to play the clarinet like this within my later years of high school. I must learn the beginning to middle-ish area on page 9.... 17:42 ....... (If only regional band allowed piano solos instead [ㅠ_ㅠ] ) Thanks very much for posting this.

So helpful for honor band auditions
Amazing job!!! I absolutely love the playing and accompaniment! I'm using this for my clarinet assignment.
Fantastic playing! Thank you for sharing! Great model for teaching students. The piano part adds a nice touch! Wonderfully played!!!
Thank you for helping me find these etudes they sound very good compared to what i played in region band
You have a great tone throughout all of the pieces.
I remember in year 10 auditioning for state with etudes 3 & 4 😭 I miss it!
They all look like lots of fun to play!
Could you add time stamps for students trying to find each number?
Thank you!!! I have been trying to work on the first one for the past couple of days and could not figure out what I was doing wrong!! God bless!
this is beautiful
Agreed!
Beautifully played, Kathy. Thank you ever so much for recording and uploading these.
Everything is great except for a few tuning issues.
Sounds great, Kathy!
That is the sound I want to have someday.
Wonderful work on these. Thank you.
Big undertaking! Well done!
That one breath after the altisimo F in No. 2 Allegro caused the player to fall behind. Otherwise, I love this video!
Feel like piano was too loud in some parts
It really was.
I could barely hear my part.
Good stuff...many thanks

Where can I find a recording of etude #16 in the 32 etudes book?
Natalie Patton on my roseclarinetetudes.com website
Kathy Williams-Devries I looked there and it seemed to have a different etude then what my book has
Well I have all 72, it is bound to be there

Puedes pasar las partes del piano?
I played this study in college. I really kinda only enjoy wind band music. I HATE playing in orchestras.
Jeremy Murray yeah, I prefer chamber music. I multitrack a lot with myself and play in a small baroque group on recorder

What tempo did you play for #4?
What tempo, Ashley? Can't you hear it? Do you want to be spoon-fed the metronome number? Give me a break! How old are you?
Show some damn respect, saxefoner.
www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htm will give you tempo from tapping along with any music..

I guess the piano part is pre-recorded and maybe it’s a computer realisation. It doesn’t seem human.
Great job, but personally the tone was a little too light for my taste
The Piano is too loud and its all Not really good
It is a CD accompanied how balanced did you expect it ti be?
The piano is a bit too loud. Nice playing but why couldn't more care be taken for the recording.
