After around 8 months, the 'sympathetic restoration' of my Ferrari 360 is now complete! The final stage was repainting the car and getting some paint protection film applied.

For all those asking, we waited about a month between paint and starting the detail/PPF process. Kudos and NVN are pros and both advised best practices for this whole process

Since you were going to get it PPF'd after the new paint job, you probably should have instructed Kudos not to put back any of the badges, since they were going to be removed anyway.

@@HammerRocks wrappers remove and put back badges every day it’s a very simple process so I’d rather have the badges on for the month, at least I’d know where to find them haha

Seeing an older car looking new is special.
Might look similar on camera but a keen eye will notice all of the swirls, orange peel, small dents and small rust spots are all gone. As a car detailing nerd this makes me so happy, love it!

Sam, just be careful because if you put on the PPF too soon, it can damage the paint or peel it off on removal.

The best buy of the recent Ferrari models. All aluminium, sturdy engine and gearbox with loads of torque, no odd shapes to get snagged on kerbs etc. airbags, traction control etc. Plenty of grip in the wet, unlike a 348 and 355, I even drove mine in the snow with complete control. The best part is the Challenge rear grille, so you can actually see through it when reversing. These will increase in cost as they are remarkably good value as of April 2022.
Impressed that you kept talking that hyper without being irritating, can feel your happiness. The car looks really stunning.

I saw the car up close yesterday whilst dropping my car off at NVN and I can tell you that it is INCREDIBLE! It literally looks better than new. No factory Ferrari ever had paint that good. Fantastic work Sam to give this car the love and attention it deserves...brilliant!

I love the manual 360 and I can't tell you how satisfying it was to see you jump into the RS6. That as a 2 car garage is perfect dare I say it
That looks absolutely amazing Sam. For me, seeing your car like this really has made the 360 design and beauty stand out, more now than when it was released all those years ago. It has aged very well, especially when I consider most new modern computer designed cars, whilst amazing, all look very similar and arguably dare I say - unoriginal.
It's always a pleasure when someone gives good care & and lot of love to an 'older' car. Good job and long life to this one.

Very happy for you Sam. You've got one of the best cars in the TH-cam world. A manual Ferrari in beautiful condition. "Slow" enough to rev it out and get through a few gears at somewhat sane speeds.

Love this kind of thing, bit like Harry’s garage rebuilding his classics from bare metal. Great to see a modern classic being treated right and slowly coming back to better than factory fresh in places. Plus it’s the only 360 I’d buy as I know it’s sound…🤔😁

ngl, the styling of the 360 has grown on me. Didn't think they were much of a looker when they first came out...but now I think i've changed my mind. Looks wonderful Sam, just in time to enjoy spring. Now 🤞🤞for some nice weather

Looks incredible. Also the rear defuser would have been red from factory and then sprayed black, hence the stone chips uncovering the red.
