It is great that he will go to Lalande and do a cheese cooking demo. That would make a great activity for guests. You could do a whole weekend of culinary artists showcasing local delights. Great way to help generate interest and income in new markets for both the local mongers and the Chateau.
You should really register the name Chateau de Lalande as a brand and have cheese guy create a special cheese for you and you sell and market it online and he can fulfill the orders for you.Same with the honey from your bee keeper and have Michael design the label they can slap on! This takes me back to the early 80s when my then two French neighbours here in London used to have 'Crottin de Chevignol' sent over from Bourges...it was the most delicious goats cheese I have ever tasted!

Stephanie, we have been binge watching from episode 1 and have now reached episode 100 and will continue. Just a few questions/observations... Why dont you cover the whole courtyard and under pergola with crushed gravel stone to neaten up the look and it will get rid of all the weeds. Install LED lighting to light up the outside walls of the chateau at night. Plant green lawn with pretty flowers arranged/planted around the fountain in the courtyard. All this will not be very costly. However, will make such a difference. Thanks for the terrific vlogs.
Do you know if it is now pasteurized like cow's milk? I grew up on raw milk which is so much healthier but now is hard to buy. If goat's milk is not pasteurized, perhaps I could use it instead.

Absolutely love goats! We had goats when I was a child and for my first 8 or 10 years i only consumed goats milk.
Do you know if it is now pasteurized like cow's milk? I grew up on raw milk which is so much healthier but now is hard to buy. If goat's milk is not pasteurized, perhaps I could use it instead.
