Imagine having 5 children plus dozens of grand and great grandchildren and still feeling completely alone in life. I'm glad that I watched the entire episode and heard Victor and Angel talk about loneliness in the elderly community, because that's such an important topic.
We can look at their marriage from the outside and make assumptions about why they're together, but what I see is two people who have a genuine love and friendship that is mutually beneficial. Victor knows his wife will be there to love and care for him in his remaining years, and Angel knows she has a husband who loves, respects and provides for her.

I totally agree. She’s there with a genuine and pure heart. He’s wanted her from the first day he met her until her finally got her. I’m all for it. Those kids of his had plans to throw him in a facility and walk away but God!!! He worked it out in his favor. He who find a wife find a good thing. It’s amazing to hear that he invested in her during her younger years. He helped with college tuition and taught her how to invest in stocks. He set her up for success a long time ago. My dad is 80 and his wife is 76. I am happy that they have each other still. I had no idea the suicide rate among the elderly is so high! Victor is a sweet man I am happy for them and wish them marital bliss for as long as God allows.

My dad work to age 80 and remarried at age 83, 20 plus years after my mom passed. He’s now 89 soon to be 90 and she’s 71 and she had never been married before. Some of my family didn’t like the ideas but most did say it not the age but everyone needs companionship. They’re very happy and very loving, caring and takes very good care of him
Broke my heart to hear those stats about the elderly. Older people are human too and should be treated as such! If we’re lucky, we’ll all get old.
I’m grateful for this interview. I love them as a couple, especially Victor. He is a genuinely caring person and that’s why he’s blessed. I’m grateful for Angel bringing those statistics about elderly suicide to the front and vowing to take care of him because that’s what he truly wants. It gave me new perspective on how my mother may feel now that she is in place where she has to be taken care of. They still want to feel like they have a life of purpose. I have to be mindful to honor that. ❤️🙏🏾
47 year gap is too much for me in terms of activities to do together, ability to relate, common interests, kids, health issues, attraction and sex... But I do respect their relationship and courage to talk about it.

I really like that she was so honest .. there are many different reasons why people get married, some for love some for security (or both/ or neither) This relationship is an equal exchange where both parties are getting what they want, no judgement here.

Though the qge gap is eye opening, what l can see and hear is that thy both love and care for each other deeply.

I understand Victor and Angel completely. I'm a black woman in my late 50's, and I'm in love with a 92 year old white man. When people see us together, I'm sure that most of them think that I'm with him for his money, but we could care less what people think. Not that it matters, but I can assure you that I have a lot more than he has. All that I know is that he is a very kind, and loving man that makes me very happy. He's something else! He makes some corny jokes though, but that's ok too because when I hear him laughing, it brings me so much joy. God forbid, but if I left this world tomorrow, I know for a fact that I was surely loved, and I know that he feels the same. Every night before we sleep, we thank God for bringing us together, and every morning when we wake up, we thank God for another day of togetherness. My mom is 90 with a 54 year old. And she's of sound mind, driving,and happy. We live 4 hrs away and it helps in her care and he works well in his role. He says mother son role.

What bothers me is that i suspect Victors children are concerned about what their inheritance is going to look like more than the quality of their father's life in his latter years...🧐 if she's not impeding their ability to see and spend time with him (and it certainly doesn't seem that way), it's giving entitlements over a living persons assets and that's disgusting behavior... and i get why Angel doesn't want to pursue a relationship with people operating in that energy
He sounds like a generous man who has taken the initiative to plan his estate unlike most elderly black folk. He is building a new house for his bride probably so he can leave his current property to his kids. If his kids don’t stop giving him a hard time then they may not get nothing.
A 90 year old, highly intelligent man, who is clear on who and what he wants, and is so clear he is willing to pursue it despite opposition. Men half his age could benefit from his clarity. Angel is blessed indeed.
Mr. Victor reminds me of my own father, age 75. They always like an younger woman. In my view, I see it’s a mutual and respectful relationship. For him, it’s companionship and wanting to be needed. My own father has advised I date a much older man. He might be right. I can understand Angel wanted to treated like a Queen. I totally get it. Happy for them both.
Most of the comments I've read seem to support this and I just have to ask; where do yall see God in this? Like seriously.... I've seen this type of situation play out in real life and it hurts the family more than anything that a stranger could come, clearly seeking an opportunity, to stick their hand in their inheritance. People will say I'm being judgemental but call it what you want because this has lust, greed, and selfisheness written all over it. But I guess as long as its win-win in the physical, lets all agree on it, right? Are we of this world or not, people of God?🙄
While this union is unlikely, it is the most beautiful love story and connection that I’ve seen in a long, long time. I can feel the genuine love between them both. People should watch this without bias and understand, regardless of age or race the types of healthy connection they should be looking to accomplish in love! Rooting for the two of you!

Initially I was thinking like a lot of people in the comments....that she is just a gold digger. I stopped watching at around 14 mins in and came back later. I started over from the beginning with the mindset of being open minded as I watched. I don't think she's a gold digger. They have genuine love for each other. He is providing for her as all husbands should for their wife. Yes...she got the ring and the bag. Amazing story! What I love is that the older gentleman - Victor seems very respectable and he is able to articulate very well whenever he's asked a question. Ms. Angel looks lovely inside & out, respectable and of course is a very feminine woman. This makes their story so much more interesting & he passes on his knowledge & has plans for their future. This story is an example of what marriages should be like.
