- This week I got my hands on the brand new annex room for my new iKamper Skycamp Mini. Of course, I immediately headed out camping to set it up and show you guys my new camp setup.

The annex is the perfect addition for family of friends. It allows you, or one other, to use the tent and then you can expand without having to go to a whole different setup.
That's one of the best things about it in my opinion.
Man I had the annex for my Skycamp 2.0, that thing was a nightmare time wise, which you touched on. Nice to have the extra space though for extended stays. Nice set up man.
Does it really take 30 minutes?
Just reserved a Bronco, gonna be my first offroad vehicle. Can't wait to explore B.C. next year!

I live by Moab Utah. I can't wait to see the new Broncos out on the rocks. Interested to see what the deep pockets do to accommodate 40's, clearance looks a little tight already between rubber and the bumpers. But the approach and break over angles looks incredible right out the box.

I have looked and studied just about all the roof tops and in my opinion if you want to save weight have superior quality but a high quality 4 season tent Stands up to monsoon wind, sno load and torrential rain. 3 time the quality and 40 percent pf price. Some good ones, North face, Mountain hardwear, MSR. Nemo, Hillebeerg, Once you set up you can see the superior quality. and the first time in a severe storm you will know. Enjoy your vids Thank you

Hey! I've been looking to getting one for the rainy/snowing season . I wonder if you'd recommend this especially to fend off some of the windy time.
I haven't used it in wind so I can't comment on that.

you still like the mini on your gladiator ? any issues with the fitment on your half height rack ?

Seems like it would put a lot of tension on those 2 rods that hold up the entrance of the tent?
The two ropes that are pegged at the front are taking a lot of the tension off the poles.
Always wanted to see the overview of that hard tent🤗 Slowly you are getting into camping stuff🏕 🏕️🏕️Next you should try some simple cooking or make a coffee or something else 🍳☕😋

How solid is the annex? I havent really found any info how how it would match up with the slightest amount of winds. I think ikamper tent will be on my future build list, ive been loving their products and following closely.
They have new versions coming out in the new year, keep an eye out.
@@TheStoryTillNow ive seen some SEMA stuff of their new changes and that made me really dig ikamper even more. I am loving those new colors

Yes but that tent is also huge. There's no other annex this big for a standard sized RTT.
Sean, today . would you consider this a good solution for a solo/couple trip where you're possible breaking down and setting up every day ?
No, the setup for the Annex Room takes too long. They have a new version coming out though that I'm going to try.

Yeah I suppose you could if you were ok with leaving it there. It just unzips from the tent.

No floor. I'm probably going to find some kind of mat to use.
The Story Till Now my family and I used to have this inch thick rubber matting for garages that come apart into smaller 3x3 sections. Should see if you can find something like that.. it had holes in it and was perfect for the cottage

Can anyone tell me where this video was shot I remember seeing a video of him going into this spot it’s out in Chilliwack up Chilliwack lake road o believe but not sure he came out and camped on a rock patch with a creek running into a lake I’m close to this spot and wanted to use this as a trip for a shake down run in my jeep

Honestly, seems like the kinda thing ppl gloat at Jeep meets, but nobody ever actually uses. The whole point of going camping is to get outdoors, unless you're setting it up camp for like 2 weeks, I feel you'd be better off with a tarp and some poles/rope/stakes. :P
