I'm glad I have the Y-Wings I need for the Rebellion. I'm not to keen on the 2.0 version. But, I absolutely love that Republic Y-Wing. It looks absolutely gorgeous.
It surprised me to see R2-D2 with C-3PO together in the Y-Wing, it must be an interesting combo. And Ahsoka as well for that Force token, wow... sounds nasty!
I think this is the ship I've been most excited for since the initial clone wars wave. I love the styling of the republic era Y-wing. Now we just need the republic version of the z-95 and we'll have all the retro models.
I have one on preorder from my LGS. I really want to take Chopper and toss him on Mace. On purpose. Just to fly him in and lol at jamming the enemies. And Mace has force to get his dice mods so he’s fine. Wondering if I needed a second one.... wasn’t sure on points so I didn’t want to over do it. Maybe I need to.
Such a beautiful ship--I can't wait to get mine! Does the back part of the ship near where the "nacelles" connect have windows where crew might be, or are those black squares just detailing of another sort, do you suppose?

Looking at the Quick Build cards, you would assume that R2-D2 is the only Republic Y Wing with a crew slot - or maybe C-3PO ignores restrictions if put on R2? I know Star Trek Attack Wing has used similar ideas for the past couple of years.
11:33 you realize that bomb created a giant sink hole on malastare that then awakened a Zillow beast that destroyed a huge section of corascant. I don't really think of that as good for the environment.

That model looks great! I wonder if Y-wings like that would have done better in the trench run. Rear gunners and armor might have really helped

To be honest I’ve always preferred the republic y-wing with its dorsal turret to the rebel one with an ion turret

Very cool. I like the extra armor in gane play. Not crazy, but recognizes the different model.
