Oh my goodness girl rinse out that cream of chicken soup can out with some milk, scrape it out or something, my grandma would be so mad at you wasting soup like that 😂
I second that! It's been driving me crazy ever since I started watching them. I would use the broth that she poured in the can to mix it up, then pour it into the other can and do the same. When I make spaghetti, I use the pasta water and shake it up in the jar.
I’ll 3rd that! Drives me crazy watching them shake shake shake the can upside down trying to get the soup out instead of using a spoon or a spatula to scrape it out.
Exactly, if it's a milky substance use another milky substance like milk or cream ro rinse the can or if it's water based use water or broth, or just use your fancy scrapers or a spoon to get it out. It's not that hard and nothing goes to waste lol. I think a lot of chefs just get in a hurry to make their videos but there is a technology called video editing lol
Well it didn't look like there was anything resembling milk but there was plenty of pop . I don't want to sound rude but that's just gross and unhealthy . It would be much cheaper healthier and teast so delicious if you made it homemad . It doesn't have to be time consuming and it's just as easy .
What I love the most is how you mix all the ingredients in the pie dish, so easy to cleanup. I'm going to try it with other meats. Thanks guys 🤟🤟🤟🤟🙏🙏🙏🙏
For a split-second there I asked the same question about the plunger...but then "Nope, nope, not a plunger". By the time I saw the wall clock though, I figured maybe they were doing some type of surprise giveaway for Name That Item.
@@vengers2012did you see the full half stack of Ritz crackers? They are salty salty salty so there's no reason to add any more salt! And condensed chicken soup comes with its own seasoning in that concentrated form. That's kind of the point, few ingredients that make it simple and fast to throw together. Although I wouldn't be against a few cranks of fresh ground pepper.
@@Jack_Stafford I can tell you from experience that the Campbell's cream of chicken isn't seasoned lol. Now the crackers might add a bit of salt but it does need a little something. Like pepper or a pinch of sugar.
I love chicken pot pie I make mine from scratch,I bake the chicken, with the veggies, make the pastry from scratch,it's the best, very short, flakey, melts in the mouth delicious!!!
I was looking for something warm to make and you both were my first go too. It's cold here in Wisconsin and I'm needing something hot and filling... I'm making one of these today. Can't wait! Thank you!
I've been making that for ages, but instead of Ritz crackers, I use a box of Stovetop Stuffing, then the butter. Halfway thru baking, mix so stuffing doesn't get dry. Another difference: I don't have a cute husband to taste-test.🥺
I’ve made kind of the same version for over 30 years when our daughter was a toddler and she loved it! Just like you said you can use your own version of ingredients. I used fresh cooked leftover chicken and mixed veggies, gravy and mashed potatoes on top. I’ll have to try the ritz and cheese next time! 😊
I would definitely had mixed ingredients in a bowl & add some water or milk with that can of soup, it's condensed girl! Then add mixture in pie crust- addinng some cooked potatoes & omitting the cheese yuck. Top crust with slits would make it better. So those are my 2 cents....
I prefer to cook all my ingredients first and then put them in the pie crust. Can I use cream of chicken soup for years to make my chicken pot pies with
Organic milk is well worth the price especially if you have trouble using all your milk before it gets to the expiration date. Organic milk has a long expiration date than regular milk.
Great recipes love you guys let me ask a question every time you open the refrigerator there is a weird item in there that should not like: a plunger, a clock, oven cleaner etc... can you get me know why this is???
I have your recipe for the chicken pot pie in a ready made pie crust in the oven right now😊it looks so good and was so simple to make. I can’t wait to try it! Thank you for this simple meal.
Also one more thought. I make all my fillings in a pot. Get the spice's right than I put that in a 9x13 pan if you want two crust spray baking dish first than put in filling and add the puff pastry on top. You always have liquid in the dish. If any of the veggies left over with liquid use it for soup it's great. Just use extra milk and water if needed.
Yes I have done these with chick and beef. Hubby liked the beef. That's going to be dry very dry yes about one half can to get all that left over soup than add half & half or my choice heavy whipping cream.
I tried the first chicken pot pie today was amazing gonna make it again thanks guys for the new recipe love it im from ireland and love watching ur videos with my daughter she loves the hide and seek in the fridge and the googly eyes on random things ❤
Omg girl this is smart cooking especially on a budget and also if both of yas people are working full time jobs honestly who whants to be stuck in the kitchen all night long I love easy ❤😊thank you 😊

Amazing! No oven mitts needed to take it out of the oven!! 😂
She's a magician. It's a trick.
Yesss!! She does that quite often...totally amazing 😂
She let it cool off😅

Onion & garlic POWDER go on pretty much everything I cook .
My handsome Kyle… love when he tastes the recipe!! 💙
Never had a pot pie without small chunks of potatoes and never cheese but you two are so cute and playful! Good shortcuts too!
Right got to have potatoes 🥔
Need diced potatoes
No cheese please.

Leftover turkey!
How did she touch that straight out of the oven with her hands? Wow 😢 I was screaming 😱
I love the bizarre things that is always in your fridge. Hilarious!
Spray can of oven cleaner in the fridge? Am I missing a cleaning hack?

Extra black pepper is always tasty!
😂😂😂😂Love the way you just took that out of the oven with your bare hands...😊

Bring it on...... yummy 😋
Your can opening hack blew my mind
In the oven she could have pulled it out with oven mits.....lol but that being said it looks good
I love how you did that thank you❤
Only complaint is not enough chicken in pie. I would add additional spices but that's my preference.
Put all the ingredients except the topping in a bowl to mix. Much easier and faster than layering in the pie crust then mixing.
Yep😊

Upgrading by using convenience foods?
Looks delicious. What is the sodium intake.
The best upgrade would be to use fresh ingredients and not that frozen or canned food

Doesn’t the soup need water to dilute ?

Will everything looks good I'm just confused as to why there was a toilet bowl plunger the fridge?
Do you all ever explain the crazy things you have in your refrigerator? Was it started as a gimmick? Do other people comment on it?
Can you please make chicken and dumplings?
That looks great I will try it with your recipe, cheese makes everything taste good.
No cheese on my pot pie i add another pie crust on top, or thick strip crust on top. I also add a lots of chicken with mines...
