OH MY WORD!! I have NEVER come across such a thorough explanation of how things work! These are the questions I have ALWAYS wanted to be answered but were too afraid of asking a Grey Market seller! This has been a real eye-opener! I wish I had come across this video before! Thank you so much Roman. Very best wishes, Steve.
Fantastic video! Roman, this is exactly the kind of content you should be making. It hits all your areas of expertise and gives schmucks like us insight on the industry. Nice work on this one
Heh Roman, out of curiosity would you be able to say what percentage of watches you sell actually come back with claims under the warranty you offer? I.e. the consumer needed something fixed that is covered under your warranty? Thanks mate, and really like the videos 👍👌🙏
I have a 1997 Sinn never serviced. I asked Sinn about servicing it because I figured...well...it must need it. Sinn wrote me back to say if it runs well there's no need to service it, just know that by now the gaskets won't be as water tight as the watch was rated for. That's what a good company looks like.
That sounds about right/good to hear . I have a newer Sinn 556a RS, and its stupidly accurate for a watch with an off the shelf movement. They clearly aren't just slapping everything together.
Very well thought out questions and answers, this should go a long way to helping people understand the ins and outs of watches and the business of dealing with them. You can tell that Roman has a ton of knowledge and experience, he is a very trusted dealer. You covered alot of ground today, this is really going to help viewers. Great episode, thank you.
Wrong analogy tu use BMW cause they cars are shit after the 20k miles the simple fact that most parts on the BMW are platic after a while the plastic rottens an that's when ish starts leaking..
Question I always had, say you buy a watch over $5k, driver delivers it to wrong address, neighbor steals it, it says delivered but you never received it. What happens then?
@easynow7425the points being made about re sale value, triggered his impulse to say what he prefers esthetically. Not that watch re sale value matters to me. But ironically he pointed out a brand of vehicle notorious for losing monetary value quickly.

Don't let Roman support your sports team!! It's bad luck ( Mercedes, Bayern)
Question I always had, say you buy a watch over $5k, driver delivers it to wrong address, neighbor steals it, it says delivered but you never received it. What happens then?
I would like to know why you are a Bayern Munich supporter 😅
At no time did you answer the “CLICKBAIT” question as far as “What’s your margin”… Hmmmm…
Great info. Thank you
Great video!
So Marco is gone?! If true, your business must be in really bad shape! The grey market is truly dead! I've unsubscribed.
Bayern Munich shirt??? o.O. ---> unfollow! :p
I drive a Mercedes sports wagon, but I don't like Rolex watches, because they are ugly.
Idk if thats objectively true, but you can def say they’re not to your taste.
@@frederickbingley6699 That's what I am saying. It's not my taste because they are ugly watches. When you like them it's okay for me.
@easynow7425 The watch dealer talked about cars and watches. So this was my answer. Simple as that.
AND!!!
