Robot, since I got my GTS 300 2016 I have watched your work. I really appreciate it. I don’t do much myself except changing oil. I do it every fall and spring when I change between summer tyres and winter tyres (with studs). I don’t use that thing to prevent the rear wheel to turn when losening the axle nut. I just use a strap around the lever for the rear break lever. If I press the lever and fixate it with a strap I can easily losen the 24 mm axel nut. Thank you from Sweden!

I’ve always wondered how come the Vespa calipers end up looking like that? Even the CVT/clutch casing in the back looks like it’s corroded. My old GT200 used to look like that.

G'day, I have a 2005 Gts250 and I changed the front brakes yesterday but now I notice my bike will only start after a few tries. Is there a sensor somewhere that I have bumped? Could be underneath when I jacked the bike up? Thank you for the video.
On one occasion when I was working full-time another mechanic challenge me to put on a cylinder head without using the torque wrench he did not think I could get it to the proper torque rating because I always use a torque wrench so I torque down the bolts and I was within two tenths of a foot pound on the torque on every Bolt

I have a problem after riding for 15km in warm weather the brakes locks on and cause the bike to slow down and wheels get red hot! 😮 with wheels seized by brakes,any suggestions? Once cooled both wheels free on centre stand 😮

Hi mr robot, I have a modern primavera 150 that squeaks at hard acceleration from zero, and I recently just changed the cvt cover bearing. The noise was there before and after the bearing replacement. Do you have any idea where the squeak might originate from? Thankyou!
Use 5W-40 (JASO MA, MA2 - API SL - ACEA A3) as stated in the GTS user manual. They know why they are asking you to do so. Or, use whatever else, but mind the note "USING OILS OTHER THAN THOSE RECOMMENDED CAN SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE ENGINE."

The rear fork, which supports 200 kg, is supported by only two M10 screws, and the 5 kg exhaust is supported by three such screws.!

What do I do if the new pads are too thick and I can't slide the disc in? I have pushed the pistons all the way back

Why is the clutch locking tool needed? I've changed my back tyre several times and nobody ever used that tool.
Have the same scoot but with a very spongy rear brake.. Line and master cylinder replaced, caliper bled numerous times... I'm at a loss.
I thought you put copper slip onto the back of the pad to stop squealing? or is that just on cars?
