I’m here because the top of my radiator just blew...was 5 minutes away from my house and engine started to over heat and serpentine belt came off...it was smoking like crazy but I make it home. Hope I didn’t destroy the engine, hopefully just buying a new radiator will fix. Thanks for the video Angel 👍👍👍
Congrats on 100k Angel! I started helping out at an auto repair shop last week, seeing how hard being a mechanic is makes me respect them that much more; love what you do Angel!
One of the things I like about your videos is you often show which way the lock tabs go on the electrical connectors. Sometimes you press them in and sometimes you pull out. Thanks for the great videos.
Often one handed too. I feel like I need three hands most of the time doing tight work. Dealer level work out of home. One of the best. Congratulations on 100k
I'm also in Vegas! Got 2000 gs300, just ordered all aluminum rad. Upgrading so it's ready for turbo in about 4 yrs once it is smog exempt. Thanks for the vid!
Mr. Fix It, your videos are fantastic. It's the same as what I would see if I were doing it myself. I like the fact that you just fix the cars and you dont talk.....talk....talk....the whole video. I love your camera angles that you provide as well. Thank you so much !!!!!
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make it. I had a similar issue, the upper hose connection broke inside the hose like you mentioned. I was taking my family to the park when it happened. We barely made it to the park when my truck spewed all the antifreeze as I parked. I had to walk 6 miles to an AutoZone that had the radiator for my truck because of rush-hour public transportation and 🚖 were stopped on traffic. I had to leave the family in the park 😔. Once I got the new radiator and antifreeze I took a cab back. It was my first-time doing this kind of work luckily I had watched videos like this... 👍😊 I didn't have the money for a tow to a shop let alone parts and labor. A few hours later I had a new radiator installed and my wife no longet complaints about me watching car repair videos like yours. 😃😏 👍
Thank you for not editing out the truck hitting your head. I feel better about the goosebump on my scalp. 2007 Prius Rear trunk lid kissed my head, too ?!?
There had to be a contributing factor causing the plastic to become brittle. Bedsides the heat, Maybe the coolant reacts with the plastic over time? I know Toyota/Lexus vehicles use Toyota pink.........I have seen this discoloration on top of other cars also. Learned something today!
Mario S. Hi Mario, welcome!! It’s great to know people like you like and appreciate my videos. I will keep trying though it’s very difficult to video and edit. But if it helps people like you, it’s all worth it.
Great job. Maybe you should think about the trans fluid and filter. I have been doing my 2002 GS300 , dropped the pan and added 4 quarts original Lexus Denso, then after 3 moths in March 2024 did it again, will do it once more end of June. I would never have a Power Flush done, warned a Friend with an SC430 but he had it done anyway, Now rebuilt Trans 2 months later.
Always see that funnel and have to convince myself I do not need one as bad as I want it, good luck on the 100k sub mark...no doubt you'll get there soon.
Great job as always man. I swear I would drive my car to you to have your blessed hands do your magic on it. I've learned quite a bit from your videos and it is always awesome to see you do what you do. It seems like there is nothing you can't do. I honestly have been waiting for a while for an upload from your channel and I was excited to see it hit my email. Like always, keep it up bro and God bless you.
Thank you so much for all your videos. I used one of them for a front brake change this past sunday on my 2005 Mercedes Benz. You helped me changed them out :) Thanks again and God Bless. ~ Roger
Great Work and great filming. Very instructive. I have the same car 2003 Lexus GS 300 - My shift solenoid C in the transmission is giving engine light error and I need to change it. I'm wondering if we have to change other sensors as well. Also if you have a video related to changing them or one about opening and closing the transmission housing to access them? Any information would help. Thank You!
Damn bro you're good I jacked up the car got underneath took the plate off did all those connections from underneath and then I took the old radiator and fan as an assembly the whole thing out you're good man but kind of made it tougher on yourself by taking off the radiator fan assembly out first you should have just took an it out as an assembly but whatever you're good
Thank you Angel. I think video quality is better. the resolution I mean. I just sold my 02 camry but I'm going to keep watching your videos. haha by the way, I recommend you to wear gloves, skin absorbs all the chemicals.. really. ^^ Thanks again.
I have to get one of those spill-proof funnels and a couple of those hose pinching pliers. Time to change the transmission fluid too? It looked pretty dirty.
Hola Ángel, mucho tiempo esperando nuevos vídeos jajaja, espero q todo bien. Los tubos pequeños de abajo del radiador son de aceite??? Gracias y saludos ;)
